Toontown - Facepainting? - The DIS Discussion Forums

From what I remember there was a facepainting kiosk, tent something like that, in toontown. Am I correct? If so, does anyone know what time it opens, prices, and what could be "painted" on your face? My DD wants to get her facepainted, so I'm looking for info.

There was when we went in 2003. DD got hers done beautifully there

Yes, there is a tent on the right side when you enter Toontown. There are lots of choices, tigers, cats, princesses, tink (pretty lime green), princess kitties.....many many choices. I have girls, so I really don't remember the boys faces. I think they run about $12-$15. My girls got them in the morning, then it stormed all day, don't ask me how their faces stayed on, but they did! They do wear off over night though...so the paint only lasts one day. I try to pick a day that I know we won't be swimming; just trying to get my money's worth!!

We have gotten them on our last day and they fly home with their faces on!

Thanks so much! That was very helpful. My DD15 is a Tink lover, and she is going to BBB, but thought that getting her facepainted as well would really add something to the costume.

I think "Pete's Paint Shop" (my dh loves Pete LOL) opens when Toontown opens. They are cash only so keep that in mind. You can take a voucher and pay with a credit card at a nearby kiosk but you have to get in line twice. The paint is $12- 20 bucks. They have all of the fairies now. My girls had Silvermist done. One neat fact is you can have your face paint touched up for free if it is the same park/location on the same day.
