Hollywood Brown Derby - What should we order?

We're going on the DDP for the first time this summer. What are the absolute best things to order?

I may have to rethink whether or not I want to do this
I LOVE anything with goat cheese. Actually, I'm thinking about getting a goat!
My aunt would give me coke and some pecans to keep me quiet

We love the crab cake appetizer and the Black Grouper entree! YUM! Can't wait to be back there in June!!! We had to cancel our ressie earlier this month because our DS was sick and we had to stay in the room with him and I was so sad that it was the night we were going to the Brown Derby. Have a great time!!

Is the Cobb Salad really that great? What makes it better than any other Cobb Salad?

I had the sea scallop, ahi tuna, and grapefruit cake. All were great, and I would definitely recommend them. I thought the Brown Derby was one of our best meals our last trip.

Just my opinion (and, okay, experience/practice) but I wouldn't use DDP credits at the Brown Derby - but then, all I get is the Cobb salad

Yes! It really is that great. DH and I split it for lunch.

Unlike some others here, I was disappointed in the Cobb salad. Chopped up too finely, as if they dumped it in food processor. Not bad, just not as good as I expected from an iconic, signature dish. Couple of years since I had one, though, so maybe that's too far back to be relevant.

See, but that is exactly what I expected! And it looks so pretty, too

the finely chopped ingredients are what make it special and different. They have a whole story about the reason it's so fine....we really think it's a great salad !!!!
