Wow, it's amazing how much stuff you miss on this thread in two days!

Yesterday, Anais ditched school so I could take her to the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History. The whole time I was there I was thinking of Night at the museum. We had a good time and took some funny photos. Traffic was horrible because I didn't even realize that we were leaving LA at 3pm, PEAK traffic time. We made it home in an hour nonetheless.

My grandparents arrived and later my aunt and cousins came over. We all had dinner together (pizza from Costco and I cooked up chicken drumsticks and made a salad). I'm so thrifty! I was able to feed us for $20! (7 yesterday and just us three today).

Today I had to work the Earth Day event for the city and I was in the arts & crafts booth. It was wonderful weather and around 10:30 my grandma, grandpa, and Anais showed up to enjoy it, too. We got a bunch of free stuff (reuseable grocery bags from Whole foods, free trees, water, pencils, rulers, etc). When we got home my grandparents left and Anais and I just rested. We watched the Cosby DVD that came in the mail from Netflix and around 4pm we had the rest of the pizza for lunch. Right now, I know it's late, but we're having dinner (the rest of the drumsticks and a salad).

I finally got all the pics put up on the front page with the matching names. It took forever!! But it's done.

I only used pics from the trip so for some of you I was limited on ones to choose from. I tried to get pics that were fairly close up, nothing too candid, and tried to keep away from those with hats and sunglasses for the most part.

Anyway, if there is anyone who prefers a different pic or something changed, let me know. Thanks!

And now we need our new ladies who are just joining us to post some pics so you can add you as well!!

Beth, as usual, you work tireless and diligently on behalf of all us divas. Great job, I enjoyed remembering a few faces I had kind of forgotten. You are the best!

And I hope no one really thinks that crazy looking lady in curlers and blue eye shadow is really Katie - yikes! But, I agree, some days we all feel like that.

Debbie - glad your friend is doing better.

Another boring Sat night here. REALLY looking forward to next weekend and MA. I was checking the weather and it is supposed to be cold (like 60) next Sunday and tomorrow is supposed to be over 90. That is crazy!

Boring day here too. Well, we did the yard sale, but to me that's boring. lol And too much work for too little profit, but the kids had a lot of fun for some reason.





OH! Speaking of yard sales, we went to one today at a nearby neighborhood, and the lady was selling various styles of fuzzy handcuffs. (Don't ask why, it's Vegas, it's expected, lol) Of course I had to buy a pair.

Anyway, I had them sitting on my desk in my room and one of the twins, Lindsey, got a hold of them and was playing with them for a long time. Finally I told her to put them back because I didn't want her to break them. She sets them on the desk and says to me, "Those handcuffs are a lot of fun!"





Well, I'm tired. Have a good night ladies!!

Oftentimes, Beth will update the title once something gets started. Sometimes these threads go too fast for me, or I get sidetracked doing "other" stuff, so I always check the first page to see what's happening. It is the best way to gauge how far along the planning is, and then join in whatever is happening.

Right now, we are basically in the "high level planning/ brainstorming/ bonding" part of the get-together, and during this time, mini-meets may happen, or investigation about things we can do.

Yeah, I know what you mean about acting "high school". I graduated almost 20 years ago. Been there, done that. No thank you.

I'm up and getting ready for another hockey game I am getting a little tired of hockey - going to games, games on TV (Canucks and Giants are both in their respective playoffs ), games on the radio...... Oy, living with boys! Now is the time to pull out the tiara and do something girly - after the hockey game
