Hiya everyone!

Well, I got a spectacular gift for xmas. >>>>> a wonderful bad cold that has kicked into my asthma.

WooHoo big fun here.

It has went through everyone in the house now my turn.
I am actually off work till NYday. And will probably spend it all at home.

Looking forward to 2013! And hoping for a great offer from wdw for april.

We will see.

MKY: So sorry you are sick. It went through my house too. First DH, then DD14, then DD11, then DD8. I was a nut with the cleaning. Somehow I avoided it but it was a nightmare here. Hope you are doing better.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Looking forward to saying goodbye to 2012. Seemed to be one devestating event after the other. Ready for some good, fun life again. With POWER!!!

Hopefully there will still be a free dining offer this summer. I like the free dining plan. We shall see what happens. May end up being a trip with just me and the girls but that would be okay. Gotta find something else to do with the family and that would be just a fun girls week.

Tomar: So happy to hear that you were able to do all that cooking and baking for christmas this year. I wish I were at your house. All those favorites sound wonderful.

Thanks for the compliments on the girls. They are getting so big. All of a sudden I feel like time has just slipped away and they will be moving on. Trying to hold on as much as possible. Making times special. I think that going back to school and work has taken some of that time away. Just seems to have flown by for me too. Really can't believe I have a 14 year old!

Glad to hear your holidays are all being special.

I know EE22's are.

Took down our inside xmas stuff today. But, still need to vacumn and dust. Just not quite up to speed yet. My cold is soooooo much better > however as you guys know > it really jacked up my asthma.

But, just doing my meds and nebs, etc..... . Just takes time. I cannot do steroids anymore either, due to another medical issue > so will have to make due with this.

Are you ready for 2013 OMG. I guess I really am getting older. TP2 & Tomar > your right this all goes way to quick.
I got a xmas card from an out of town friend > and she sent pic's of her daughters wedding.

I was like > they are old enough to get married???????

Boys are back on track finally. They had a cold and stomach issues > so we where doing overtime on them and their condition recently. They will be 17 months on Jan 1.

I have been planning dining on our June trip. Have you guys seen the "new" dining reservation thing? I like the old one. The old one showed more times and what resturants where available. Now, you put in each one. I worked 4 hrs and it was sooooooooooo slow I got 3 days done out of 9. Ugh I was so flustrated I quit. Going to work on it again now.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful new year. Sounds like we are on a good foot so far. MKY...trip planning and getting better, Tomar...sounds like this was a great Christmas, and EE22 is IN Disney for 2013!!! I have been looking at crowd pictures and it is scary...

So talk about time flying....we started this new (second) thread in 2009.

Happy New Year!!

We had a great time. I took lots of pics of the crowds. Really not crazy until the 30th and the 31st. Things picked up around the 27th from when we first got there too...people stay home for Christmas, travel on the 26th and arrive. Next year with Christmas on a Wednesday will allow more people to travel with school jobs.

Our friend that works there said that it's the busiest they have been in 20 years. Not an off property time of year that's for sure!! NYE I am pretty sure all the parks closed.

I was annoyed they were testing the new turnstiles and you had to have your tickets on the resort key...PAIN and clogged the other turnstiles.
NOT cool for AP holders.

Segway was FUN!!!!

EE22, So what do they do if you have an ap? You have to add it to you room key?

As far as I know, they cannot put aps on the resort keys yet, but our keys were so messed up at AKL when we checked in and they never did have the pin code thing worked out either...supposed to have to use a pin code for over 50 bucks...never had to. Very odd.

I don't think they have gotten that far with the testing. It was annoying. They could only put myw tickets on there from what I understood

Existing ticket holders, including annual passholders, wanting to participate in FastPass+ will be able to “convert” paper tickets to a “paperless” variety, via “My Disney Experience.” A new RF-equipped ticket will replace the old, allowing access to all of the newly-enhanced planning opportunities. The old FastPass system will no longer be accessible for those who switch to the paperless option. Likewise, old paper tickets will no longer work for theme park admission, requiring the new tickets to enter.

I found this about the fastpass+ program. They don't know what they are doing with aps yet I don't think. I don't think we could do anything differently for our trip.

I think they are leaving ap holders in the dust if you ask me.
