I am so OCD.. If my husband was coming on this trip he would kill me!

LOL.. Not really kill me he would really shake his head until it worked and then would tell me he was impressed..

So we are leaving tomorrow.. 8 of us.. 3 kids ages 15 months, almost 3 and 7 1/2... two twenty somethings (1 pg) Me almost 36 and my parents in their 60's.. We have a week and I know this is going to be a really busy time. I have analyzed TGM and gone over the best strategies over and over.. None of us want to be exhausted and plan to go back to the BWI for rest, relax and swim time...

I have made little cards with what we want to do for each day and each park and the rest is bonus!

Anybody else going these next few weeks and have a compulsive plan like me?

I went in Jan and did the same thing! But, my husband was so happy! We had a very smooth, problem free vacation. He was so excited that I spent all the time on here, and that I read all the books, and planned out everyday of our trip!

Have a great vacation!

I am so there with you....even though are trip is not until August. And with the hours that they just posted for July it is going to take some definite planning if we are going to make everything fit with those measly hours!!!(I am not expecting that August's hours will be any better!!!!!!!!)
I have been planing this GG for 9(5 adults,3 teens and 1 child) since Sept. '08. I seriously might need therapy when this trip is over
The ADR's are what are sending me over the edge at the moment.(I actually cleaned the house today to give myself a break)

I wish I had the ability to be so organized like that. I have tried to set up a system to do this and I just cant get it off the ground.

it must be my male gene I got!

and some people say OCD is a bad thing.

My husband thought I was insane when I planned and planned for our first trip.

Now that he's experienced WDW and understands how crucial every decision can be, he's doing some research himself!

I too plan our trips (okay "over plan") and there are just two of us and we go during a slow time. So my husband would just laugh at me and tell me that all that work was going to be for nothing. Until we got down there and had experienced all of the attractions that we wanted to see each day, often several times, by late afternoon/early evening and I was able to get him over to Epcot for an adult beverage each day. Then the planning wasn't so funny anymore. Then the "OCD planner" was a genius .
