Magic Kingdom view at Poly

Hello, I paid for a "Theme Park View" room for my 1st ever trip to WDW in May - from what I've read I'm thinking about asking for a 3rd floor room in Tahiti - is this the best choice? I don't mind walking at all, I know this is further from GCH but the main issue is a GREAT VIEW and I thought a balcony would be nice. Now the trick is getting my request in! Any thoughts/suggestions?

I think any theme park view at the Polynesian will be beautiful.

Both second and third floor rooms in Tahiti have balconies. The patios on the first floor are also very nice and full size.

If balcony is most important to you, maybe make that your first and/or only request.

You're getting close. Happy planning!

We had a 2nd floor room at Tahiti over the Christmas week & it was PERFECT! It is not that far from GCH and the grounds you are walking on make the walk so enjoyable anyway. It was quiet and relaxing and the view at night was beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony as our daughter feel asleep each night.

First, let me commend your choice for your first ever trip to Disney at Poly! You will LOVE it! We just stayed there last year for the first time and fell in love with it! We stayed at Tokelau and it was very nice.

This year however, we requested a 1st floor room in Tahiti. I promised dd6 that I would get her a room with a Magic Kingdom view, and on the 1st floor, so that she could just open the door, and run out onto the beach! We were lucky enough to get the 40% pin code email, otherwise the MKV would probably be a little over our budget. I think you would LOVE Tahiti. I know we will! And I must agree with the person who said that you will not mind walking around the grounds. I know you said that you don't mind. Personally, I found strolling the grounds the most relaxing part of the whole thing. I used to think that I would mind the walk from the longhouse to the GCH, being used to staying at CR in the main tower. I found that I LOVED strolling around, it was so relaxing! I think Tahiti would be a GREAT choice!

I'm sure you will not be disapointed. We also stayed in Tuvalu with a MK view - it was PERFECT!

I'm jealous!

We have stayed 2nd and 3rd floor MK view in Tahiti and really enjoy that longhouse. We also don't mind the walk. We like how it is close to the TTC and it nice and quiet down that end.
