after reading about 10 of these pages. i'm terrified! we're staying at CBR but in december, so hopefully the snakes will all be tucked away trying to keep warm. while reading this my dog put his wet nose on my leg. i jumped out of fear of it being something else. EEK!

Oh wow, I didn't know there were this many snake sightings at WDW!

I saw one about 3 years ago at the BW, we were waiting at the bus stop and a huge black thing started slithering towards the benches. Needless to say everyone took off rather quickly!

Uhhh no they can't. Run over them with impunity.

It hasn't happened to me before at a resort, but I don't think it'd be any fun! Or maybe it would... lol

well here is my story. and it freaked me out and i wish i or my wife would have took video or a picture of it. but were were at the bus stop in epcot and while waiting for the bus we watched a little black snake slither near this lady with sandles on and by the time i could tell her the snake crawled on her foot and was slithering between her legs. i thought if i told her now she would freak out and it might bite her so i dident say anything and within a few seconds it slithered away into the bushes. what freaked me out is how no one else except my wife and i noticed it. it just goes to show you that people need to pay attention to there soroundings or maybe living in the south we see snakes all the time and can spot them quick. but i have to say it freaked me out a bit.

Just back from WDW and I'm happy to report there were no snake sightings. I did cringe a few times when I saw children playing around and under the bushes at a POR bus stop. I guess their parents don't read the DIS boards!

Just saw a picture of a snake at the base of one of the light poles at Port Orleans French Quarter in a trip report I read. It was a redish color and wasn't very large but it was still a snake!
