Well there aren't "bottles" anywhere since you can't have bottles. If he is that specific he's likely going to be disappointed!

Does this mean if you bring your own cooler with some alcohol (beer) it has to be cans?

The primary problem with America is stupidity. Maybe we should just take all the warning labels off and let the problem solve itself.

We took bottles, and had no problems. Drank them everywhere except the kids clubs.

Well you can bring them but just don't bring them up on deck thought they'll just ask you to put it in a cup. Cans are easier to bring but I just elect not to bring any and just drink theirs! Its kind of a pain to keep them iced and the refrigerator is basically just a "cooler box".

Bottles

I don't know what has changed since last September but the buckets of beer you buy from the bar at the adult pool consists of glass bottles. Also, the souvineir beer mugs were glass and we were using them at the Mickey pool. We saw others doing this and never had anyone ask us to switch to cups.

That is very true.....we get a bucket and have always had bottles. And the refillable mug is also glass. They just don't want you near the pool area with them from what I've seen and been told. Otherwise we've never had any issue's with it.
