Thanks! We shot the video on a DV camcorder and a water-resistant digital camera for the wet and underwater stuff. It's amazing how everyone got into the whole video so much. Having two little girls dancing in front of Nemo BEFORE getting their popsicles was perhaps our crowning achievement.

That was absolutely the best thing I've seen in years. You have a beautiful family and you look like you really enjoy being together. Thank you for sharing your magical trip with us.

Your video is absolutely fantastic!! We loved it, and our 4 year old watched it several times!!

Obviously, your ideas and composition are great, but do you also have lots of experience in making these or is iMovie just that good? I'm guessing either way, it took quite a bit of time to put that together.

I don't have a Mac, so I'm not familiar with iMovie. Is there a comparable program that is just as good for Windows?

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you both very much! It was a lot of fun to put together. This is the first time I've done a project on my own, and the first time on a computer. I've been involved with similar "music video" projects years ago, so I kind of knew what I was getting into.

The main thing is to have a plan ahead of time of how you want it to look, and then shoot too much footage...then be willing to leave out some stuff you really like in the interest of brevity.

I'm new to iMovie. There was a short learning curve involved, but once I got the hang of it, it went pretty smoothly. I spent about a week putting it all together after we got home before it was ready for YouTube.

I guess I didn't finish answering your question. I've been impressed with iMovie. I know there are good editing programs out there for Windows, but I'm not familiar with them. I believe Windows Movie Maker is the most popular, and might be included on your computer.

I appreciate your comment about your four year-old. I'm glad your child enjoyed it so much.
