Need Crowd Level Report - Last Week In August - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm was looking for a crowd level report for the last week in August (8/24). We've been away from the Magic

for two years. Finally, DW is talking about returning next year. DS

and I can't wait to get back to the Magic. We usually have the last two weeks in August off for vacation. We travel during the last week. A lot of schools are already back in session. The NE schools start later. I'm also interested in finding out how hot the weather is as well. We just returned from San Antonio where the temp was 104 everyday. Any info would be great! Thanks!

DS and I just got back from an Aug. 28 - Sept 1 trip. Most rides were walk ons. I think the longest wait was Soarin' which was 30 min. But we got fast passes before waiting on the stand by line and fast pass return was shortly after we got off so after a bathroom break rode a second time. Ate at both Yachtsman Steakhouse and Cape May Cafe as walk ins with maybe a 10 minute wait.

It was very hot. The crowd levels make up for it. It did cool off one night after a thunderstorm and we had pretty comfortable temps for Spectromagic and Wishes.

So I guess it's a trade off. High heat.......low crowds!

OK, so DW decided that after 2 years, we'll be heading down to the Magic next year during the last week in June. We'll be traveling with our best friends and their kids. Originally we were looking at the last week in August, but decided to change due to the hot weather in Florida at that time. Not that June will be any better!

DS and I are jumping for joy!
