I made my 17 and 18th trip to Wicked on 2/23. I got to see both the standby and lead for Elphaba, which was a treat in itself. Amazing and fun show to be at this particular night. Have never seen the cast so into their roles like they were on this day. I saw the touring production in Orlando.

Will be returning to see the show 3/28 and 3/31.

Tonight we saw Barry Manilow's one-man show at the St. James theater. Basically it was a scaled down version of the concert he did at Radio City last year. Barry Manilow on the cover of a Playbill.

Next up is Kinky Boots.

.Was lucky to see the final performance of Mary Poppins on Broadway. Today. The audience was full of former cast members, too. What a fun show! At the end, Tom Schumacker, the head of Disney Theatrical Productions gave a warm speech. And all the extras, stagehands, and more came out on stage. Then they introduced one of the Sherman brothers, who wrote many Disney songs, including the ones in the Disney movie for Mary Poppins. Fun day!

I saw Wicked on Broadway for the first time a week ago today. It was FANTASTIC!!! I have a question: Does anyone on this thread know the recipe for the Ozmopolitan drink that they sell at the theater? I "googled" it, but none of the recipes looked right. I want to try and re-create it at home. I think it had vodka, sour apple liquor and Sprite, but I'm not certain.

That is awesome! I loved Mary Poppins. I'm so glad I got to see it before I moved away from NYC.

One of the cooler things I got to do was attend a final dress rehearsal of a Broadway show. It was interesting to see them run through the performance and stop and tweak some things. I was not a huge fan of the show at all, but it was still cool to see how the whole process worked.

Pretty sure it is just vodka, sour apple and Sprite. I asked about the same drink at Evita a few months back (they called it a Don't Cry for Me, Appletini) and they said it was the same as the Ozmopolitian at Wicked. (The main reason I asked was because I had been at Wicked the night before and saw the Ozmopolitan on the menu, but didn't get one).

It was good, but pricy yes. $16, but it came in a souvenir cup

I saw the original Mary Poppins in 2011. Sad to see this show go, great show. How awesome you were at the final one.

I'm planning my April trip to New York and I've got a list of shows I'm interested in. I did get tickets to Lucky Guy. Some of these shows are still in previews or are about to be but here's my list in case you have feedback for me:

Hands on a Hardbody
I'll Eat You Last
Kinky Boots
Orphans
The Madrid
Ann
Matilda
The Nance
Cinderella

I have room in my schedule for 4 or 5 more shows. I might go to a Brooklyn Nets game with a friend instead of a show one night.

So what should I see?
