I was just wondering what others thought about some of the events that are offered.
I would love more information on the T-shirts and the dinner events, if anyone has any.

15 Members of our family did a couple of the Grand Gatherings. I'm not sure if they still have these or not but we did the Pirate Fireworks Cruise and the character breakfast at Tony's. We enjoyed both of them.
The fireworks cruise was a hit with the kids. We had desserts before boarding the boat. Capt Hook lead the way.... The cruise was a lot of fun but the fireworks are best viewed in front of the castle. Tony's breakfast was ok. Nothing special. I don't think I'd do that one again. We didn't do the Disney T-shirts. We choose to make our own. Hope this help! |

Those are the two we are not so interested in! Really would like to know more about the AK Safari and Epcot's Illumination dinner and dessert.

WE did it in august. We did the fireworks cruise and the safari. both IMO were not worth the money. on safari the animals were all hiding by the time we did it, around 7ish. tusker house was ok, but the food wasnt all that great. not worth it to me.
the cruise was ok. you get pre packaged foods, nuts, brownies, cotton candy, chocolate coins, stuff like that. coke products and coffee. Then you see hook and smee. then they load you on the boat and take you to the poly for the light show, then to your spot for wishes. The way I was sitting in the boat I had to duck below the awning on the boat to see the castle and fireworks. Just not worth it to me.... but Like I always say....do it, just cause someone else didnt like it dont mean you wont!!! |

For the Safari Dinner do you remember what kinds of food were served?
