Question about room keys

I have reserved 2 rooms at AKL and have requested connecting rooms. My family is me, DH, DS who will turn 16 on the trip and DD9. In case I can't get connecting rooms and could only get rooms that are close to each other I am thinking DD would sleep with us and possibly DS could have his own room but will see how comfortable I feel about this when we actually get there. Is it possible to have the same KTTW card open both rooms? I want to make sure that I can get into his room if necessary.

Room Keys

I don't believe they can put two rooms on one key. You would have to get an extra key for his room.

Also, an adult would have to be registered in each room.

Thanks for the help. Still hoping that we can get the connecting rooms so DH and I can share and the kids in the other.

Just put yourself and one child (probably your daughter) on one room. Then put your husband and your son in the second room. All four of you can have room keys, two for each room. Simply take whatever keys are necessary for the nightly arraignments. No worries that way.

When we have had connecting rooms they have been coded so that the keys open either room so it is probably possible.
