I am so sorry to hear that news. It seems like I personally know more and more people that are being effected by current conditions. I really hope you get a replacement quickly.

Hmm?I wonder why it was cancelled?

I know...............they heard about our awesome hunt and didn't want to look like amateurs!!

(Yeah right........I don't think so.)

You can link, it's done all the time.

If anyone wants a crazy-fun time and belongs to micechat, they have what they call the "gumball rally", where you ride/see as many attractions as possible in one day, at BOTH parks. They have watchers, they have questions that are answered in the queues (people who go often might know already, but that's what the watchers are for)...each person in your group must do each attraction together unless it's truly impossible (someone who can't board the ride vehicle, has a heart condition, is terrified of something, etc, can sit out but they really have to sit/stand *right there*, they cannot do anything else). My January solo trip involved being a super-secret watcher which was so fun. I couldn't attend their awards ceremony that night b/c my flight was scheduled during it (then my flight was delayed by a couple hours AFTER I was at the airport, I was so frustrated!), but it sure seemed like fun for those poor exhausted souls who had tried to ride and see everything that day.

Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear about your job. I hope you find something else even better soon.

Heather, was it visionsfantastic that was hosting the game? I think I remember reading about it over there. I'm sure they had to cancel due to lack of participation. It costs a lot of money to put these things on, and I don't think that board has the same number of fans MP, MA and the Dis have.

Well, happy Tuesday everyone! I'm fixin to start school with the kiddos. Later taters!

That stinks!! Have you got any prospects? Hopefully you can still make the trip in March!

Blue Ribbon Bakery for coffee and goodies? Or someplace that has a place to sit? But what time? Are you ladies wanting to get there that early? Or do you want to get together more like 10:00 or somethin?
Saturday DL opens at 9am, Sunday 8am. Both are MM days. I'm not sure what time we'll be there on Saturday, but definitely opening on Sunday. Tell me where and when and I'll be there, with bells on!!

Morning!

Yes, it was Visions Fantastic. Here's the link to what they are still saying. 2009 DCA Dash-Canceled

Molly your gumball rally sounds like lots of fun. I've heard of it and the mouseplanet one, but have never participated. I'd love to do one over at WDW (where I know what I'm doing!) someday.

I have to get my butt in gear. The therapy people are coiming over at 1420 to plan Nathan's ST and OT. He qualified for the biggest federal program, so we have lots of money to help us. I think they will even pay for his preschool come fall. All these years of paying taxes is starting to personally help me, and it feels good to know that there are things out there to help him. I think he's going to get ST and OT once a week each, but last night, our facilitator mentioned maybe doing ST twice a week a first. She brought up the 'A' word (autism), and while we don't think he has it, she wanted to offer all support in order to help correctly diagnose him.

That's all for today. It's got me stressed out, but I'm trying to relax and leave it in God's hands.

Talk with you all later.

Heather

I've had a great start this morning; first, my most un-favorite aunt came to visit. I'm sure you all know her, Aunt Flo. At least I'll be good this weekend!!

Then, I had to take my DD to school this morning and I backed out of the garage... BEFORE the door had gone all the way up. Knocked it right off the track and scratched the top of my van. At least I was able to pull it down by hand when I got back. Hopefully we don't have to pay someone to come out and fix it.

Hope the rest of the day goes smoothly!

I'm so sorry Michelle. I know how you feel. It's happened to me the last 2 years and I'm hoping to not do a 3-peat if I get the job with the school board. I'd like to get through 2009 without a lay-off.

I'm sending you Job Finding Pixie Dust.
