My Birthday/Anniversary Celebration at WDW! March 4th-12th, 2009  *March trip report begins in page 66 ~ http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2044727&page=66 For those of you who are new this time around my name is Tammy, I'm a Mommy/Photographer that loves Walt Disney World! A little history for those of you who are new...I'm in my 30's. Been happily married for 11 years to Sidney, another Disney addict. (He's wanted to move to Celebration since we got lost there in 1998!) LOL My first trip to WDW was in 1982. Epcot had just opened and we stopped in for a day. I HATED it. I was a kid and it was all gardens! Or so it seemed. Funny thing now...it's my favorite park! I'd give anything to go back to 1982 and check it out again. We exchanged the Epcot tickets for another day at the Magic Kingdom. I enjoyed the place but I wasn't "in love" just yet. My family took me about once a year. It started to grow on me over time. Then I met my future husband. I took him for his first visit in 1997 and he fell in love....with me and Disney. We honeymooned there in '98 and never missed another year. Now we're going 2-3 times a year on average and are Annual Passholders. It's been quite an adventure! Here's a picture of me and Sidney...  I have three Disney babies....two Pirates and a Princess. They are my life. I just started home schooling them this year and so far it's GREAT! We love it. (Other HS moms feel free to drop me a line) Here are my three pictured with Gavin. This picture was taken back in September '08, on the night of the tragic plane crash with Travis Barker and DJ AM.  I got into Photography around 1989. I was a total rocker chic back in the day. I loved the cute boys with big hair and eyeliner. I wanted to befriend these people but not in a skanky way. I bought myself a Pentax K 1000....took Mr. Roth's Photography class...and suddenly I was VIP at every rock show for the next two decades! Worked for me. Along the way I met and made friend with 100's of celebrities. I had a super fun life during that time. Today I mostly do weddings, beach portraits, and other boring stuff. We do shows from time to time. In '08 some of the highlights were Kid Rock, Snoop Dogg, Gavin DeGraw, Travis Barker, and a few more. OneTreeHillAddict...Hmm. I suck when it comes to making up screen names and such. I didn't realize at the time I'd be stuck with the same name forever. Anyway, I do enjoy the show very much. All of us have worked on One Tree Hill at some point except for the baby. He did have an audition to play baby Jamie once but he didn't get it. If you're a fan of the show check out my past trippies. There's pictures of us with the cast on those. Sophia is my favorite. She's one of the sweetest people ever. Paul is extremely goofy. James is the shy guy but he gets the job done. Everyone is very nice and down to Earth except for Chad. He thinks he's God's gift. Anyhow, this is where the name came from. I'm not really an "addict" but I do watch the show regularly. (This is also where the whole Gavin love started, lol) Oh wait...if you're new you have no idea about my little Gavin crush. You may or may not have heard of him. Gavin DeGraw...pianist/songwriter/singer with a beautiful smile! He sang the original theme song for OTH. If you watch American Idol you've heard his music. People use his songs all the time! Anyway...he is soooo sweet. Me with my future husband Gavin DeGraw. (I'm just kidding) I am extremely happy with Sidney plus Sidney has more hair. G's music just makes me feel like I'm in middle school again. He's a totally cool guy and he's so talented. I totally heart him for that!  We just took our first trip of 2009. (We're only about 8.5 hours away so we try to go as much as we can) I celebrated both my birthday and our 11th anniversary! We had a blast! My sister and her friend Chimere also joined us and I had a Dismeet with Jenna & her hubby! Jenna rocks! I'll have a bunch of pics and several videos. No rushing through this time. This TR here is actually two in one. The first was a trip taken in December...the new trip report from March will begin on page 66! Feel free to read back over December. That was a fun one too! March Trip Report starts on Page 66! *********************************************** Christmas 2008 Trip Report This was the last trip for my Olympus E 500. She has been exchanged for a Nikon D60. This is a great camera for Disney. It's cheap too. Only $529 at Sam's club and it comes with your starter lens. No, it's not as good as the 300 but for Disney it'll work just fine! This was our first GRAND GATHERING trip. We met Diser's Katie and Ryan who made up the 9th and 10th persons in our group. We lucked out and got FREE DINING during this trip too. We stuck with the basic dining plan. We usually upgrade to deluxe but the offer was sent so late in the game. There were not enough ADR's available for parties our size to fill up a deluxe plan.  So there you have it....8 Magical Nights in the World... WHEN: December 13th-21st WHERE: CBR and Pop WHO: My family of five and some other friends and family! My mom and dad joined us this time too!  And this is my sister Ashley!  Last but not least we have Katie and Ryan! We met via Dis and now they are friends for life!  As for Disney ~ We have to go at least once a year but if we can swing 2-3 trips even better! We are AP holders since August so we're trying to get good use out of them. This December trip was our second using our AP's. We have two others planned as of right now. March 4th-12th and mid August. If any of you are going then let me know! I wanted to leave earlier but we didn't get to sleep 'til late and I refuse to go that far with no sleep. Done it before, not good! Not even an hour later the parents had to stop (too much morning coffee). Needless to say we will not be making it to Florida in less than 8 hours this time!  It was totally freezing outside and the moon was bright and full. About 9 hours later I see....  Why yes it is! Finally! We have arrived! So we head over to Caribbean Beach Resort and check in. We had hoped for a Pirate room but they weren't ready yet. Instead we got an excellent room in Jamaica. It was right close to the bridge. The rooms we requested if the Pirate's were not ready. I can't wait to see those. The sketches are really cool Everything was decorated. I had planned to document everything but most of my pictures did not turn out this time. He are some pictures from CBR.     I know this isn't a fun start but I promise it gets way better! The family is wanting to wii bowl so I have to join them. I wanted to get this started like I promised. This time we have video to add as well. It's going to be a fun trip report! I can't wait to read all about your trip! I was there 12/13-12/20/08 (first 4 days by myself, last 4 days my DD, DF & DGS joined me).
I only saw one other Diser at the BWV bus stop and of course met my first Diser (xrayvin) who was so sweet when we did the double stroller swap at GF on the 15th (I took monorail back to Epcot and rode a few rides b4 taking the stroller back the BWV and boy did I get strange looks! The stroller was empty because my daughter hadn't arrived yet and ended up not using it so I was trying to save time & walked around Epcot for a couple hours with it empty  )Sure wish I wasn't so shy and thought to approach someone who I thought may be a fellow Diser at WDW sometime!

Hi Tammy - I am in and I am new! I read your last report and was so entertained that I am back for the new one! I am contemplating writing my own PTR for our upcoming April trip but there is so much to learn
 I actually found your last report through the snack thread and have now been lurking on about 8 different trip reports. They have been very informative and entertaining. Can't wait for the next update!

I have one day left (our DHS day) to finish on my trip report, but I've been having problems getting photobucket to cooperate
