Wow! What great insect and flower pictures to live up to as I learn to use my first dSLR!

Well, I'll post one of my first ones anyway. This picture came straight from RAW with only a little cropping.

It's a friend's little pug - Daisy! She's a cutie and visiting her helped cheer us up since we lost one of our two cats very suddenly last week, breaking our hearts.

Hot Hare Balloon Energizer Bunny at the 28th Annual Pittsfield NH Rotary's Hot Air Balloon Rally 2009. The Hot “Hare” Balloon is the tallest hot air balloon in the world it's 15 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty.
