Where can we find these characters? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We are heading to Disneyland next month and our 3 kids love to get their pictures taken with (and autographs from) lots of characters. Has anyone seen any of these characters at Disneyland/California Adventure recently and if so where did you see them?

1. Atlantis characters
2. Flik and any other Bugs Life characters
3. Suzy & Perla (mice from Cinderella)
4. Hunchback characters
5. Piglet
6. Mulan
7. Peter Pan
8. Jiminy Cricket
9. Meeko
10. Robinhood and Sheriff
11. Brer Rabbit and Fox
12. Seven Dwarves
13. Tarzan & Jane
14. Buzz & Woody
15. Princess Aurora

We would really appreciate any advice.

Hi jabead!

We just came back from DLR so some of the spots to find characters are still fresh in my mind. In general, you can have some good luck finding characters at the main entrance and coming out of the Cast Member doors between the Mad Hatter and the Showplace pin trading area. They also come in and out of the Cast Member doors near the Carnation Baby Station (near the Plaza Restaurant). In addition:

2. Flik and any other Bugs Life characters
I would try near the "Bug's Life" area in California Adventure.

5. Piglet
The best place to (for sure) find Piglet is at the Character Breakfast at the Plaza (end of Main Street on the right hand side as you face the castle.) These are fun breakfasts with all of Pooh's friends! You might also try the staging area near "Small World."

14. Buzz & Woody
Club Buzz would be a good place. That's in Tomorrowland near the Monorail, adjacent to the Pizza place.

Have fun! DLR is a great place!

I saw Mulan and Esmerelda from Hunchback at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot at DCA last summer. There were actually a lot of characters there, and they weren't that busy. I think people forget to look for characters at DCA sometimes.

I've seen Tarzan and Terk at Tarzan's Treehouse in Adventureland. I saw Jane on Main Street once.

Overall, I don't think there's just one place where each of the characters hangs out. Part of the fun is "hunting" for character, though. You just have to keep your eyes open and your camera ready! Good luck!

I asked the same question on another board.I was given the advice of checking w the CM at the ride board. They usually know in advance where characters will be during the day or at least can help you find out via radio - I would love to see Mulan as she is my favorite character - kudos to Disney for having such a strong female character for once!Another character I got a thrill of seeing was Mary Poppins- I was a bit away but she saw me w camera in hand and posed very nicely for me and give me a wink- loved that movie as a young girl growing up- wanted to be a nanny just like her lol--- hmmmm maybe thats why I work in Preschool education now???? lol

Whoa baby ! I've seen tarzan too

, he was riding the elephant in the parade....and his loincloth kept "breezing" up. He was actaully bare ( although very tan )....I think I blushed.

I have seen Mulan and Esmerelda at Goofy's Kithchen.

Meeko, Robin Hood and the Seben Dwarves are in the Parade of Stars parade.
