Magic Kingdom to Epcot - How long

Title says it all:
How long is the monorail ride from MK to Epcot

Thanking you in advance

(BTW - I am making notes, so that 2 years from now, I will not be asking the same questions)

The ride itself is 13 minutes long (a driver told me that once but I haven't timed it myself)
The monorail does not take you directly to the MK but to the TTC, where you must switch to a monorail that goes to MK, so the full trip will take longer than 13 minutes, especially when you factor in possible wait time.

Remember also, that we're talking two monorail rides here:
  1. From MK to TTC: either express (fastest) or resort (1 stop at Contemporary before TTC)
  2. From TTC to Epcot (I suspect this is the "13 minute" ride we're talking about)
I imagine that you should leave yourself maybe 20 minutes wait time for each leg of the monorail ride (probably less, but you never know), in addition to the time actually on the monorail (13 mins TTC to Epcot, maybe 5-7 MK to TTC). So it should be less than an hour, probably much less than an hour. Plus the Monorail is so cool and futuristic, a very elegant ride...
