We stayed at FQ in April 2005 and the refurb had just been finished (we were there in 2001 and it was in dire need of refurb), so no major refurbs likely soon - although it used to be that rooms were painted as needed, furniture repaired etc - not sure if this is happening with cut backs.

Queens, probably not - with the refurb at CSR queen beds were added, but that was because it is a convention resort. CSR room size is the same as FQ, but the table was removed, a desk added against the wall to give the appearance of the same space.

I'd love to see a light refurb about now as the resorts get so much wear and tear, but not holding my breath!

What section of DTD does the boat from Port Orleans go to? We are wanting to go to WGP Express at Marketplace location and didn't know if this boat was a good transportation choice.

Hi Jeany, we've answered this question for you several times over the past year or so as you have posted it about a dozen times in various threads. Yes, all the WDW hotel shops do sell some DVDs and CDs, but generally only current popular Disney titles - don't expect back-catalog items. For other titles, try World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

Question POFQ gift shop sell milk ? Where tp stack 4 suitcases ?

Does the POFQ gift shop sell milk ?
If so, does the milk container fit in the POFQ room refrigerator ?

We bring 4 standard large suitcases with us to WDW - where should we place them in a POFQ room ?
In th bottom of the closet ? Some below the double sinks ?

Where the best place to store your toiletries ?
Sink shelf ? Closet shelf ?
Should I bring a hanging closet organizer with us to store some items ?

Are there 4 drawers in the POFQ room dresser ? Is there more drawers in the POFQ room dresser ?
Does the dresser have ample storage space on top - or does the TV take up all the top dresser space?

Thanks for any POFQ room help

I believe the store sells milk but we order from Garden Grocer & there is plenty of room in the fridge for a half gallon plus other items. There are at least 6 to 8 drawers for clothes. Two of them are small & then larger ones. We are 4 to a room (my 2 DS's are 20 & 16) & we also have 4 suitcases. We keep 2 near one of the beds (in between the wall & bed) & 2 near the other bed (near the door) but there is some room to keep them there.
We always bring a shoe organizer with us & I would NOT leave home without it. I hang it up by the sinks & I keep everything in there. I also keep some items on top of the cabinet that houses the fridge. There is some space on top of the bureau next to the tv. We keep our power strip up there & anything we may be charging & I bring a small fan with me that I put there also. There is quite a bit of room to put items. There is also a shelf on top of the sinks that we keep toothbrushes & things also.

If there is anyone who is going soon or who has been recently, could you check in the food court for me and see if they have the tea/sweet tea dispenser there. They added one in the food court at CBR in the past year and oh I love sweet tea, so it was definitely a welcome surprise. I'd love to see one at POFQ.

I store my suitcases in the changing area right near the wall under the clothes bar. I stand them upright and have a bag in one. I use that one to keep my used clothing in. There is a shelf over both clothing bars and it hold a lot of stuff. There is a coat hanger/shelf over the bench in the bedroom which can hold anything with straps. I keep my camera hanging there along with my purses and bags. I hate stuff on the floor so anything that keeps my things up and neat is great

Do you think the shelf above the sink is big enough to hold one of those $1.00plastic shoe bins? (The kind Wal-Mart sells for $1.00 with a lid that you can put a pair of shoes in.) I was thinking of putting toiletries in that and just leaving it set on that shelf if it would fit.

I don't think it would be deep enough. Long enough, yes. We always leave our toiletries out on that shelf with no problems.
