Best Building/Location?

What is the best building/location at POFQ? I like quiet and don't mind walking...my friends are staying at POR and we would like to spend time with each other...looks like on the map Bldg 6 and 7 are closest to POR. Is that right?
Thanks!!

Building 7

would be the closest. There is also a boat that serves both POR and POFQ for DTD. People will ride that between resorts sometimes. It usually runs every 20 minutes in the morning and every 10 or so from 4:00 PM on. It used to run just between the resorts earlier in the morning but that was recently stopped - probably because Boatwrights stopped serving breakfast.

The boat is going to drop you off at a point that is one of the nearest to POFQ so it doesn't help all that much. Go with Bldg 7. The resort is not really that big anyway.

Building 4 is closer to the lobby and the bus stop!

Someone told me that building 2 was the best one as while not right next to the bus stop it was easy walking distance plus close to the boats for DTD, so when I changed my ressie to POFQ, I asked for building 2

Bldg 2 is a very nice location - no pkg lot view, about 4 mins to the lobby/food court and bus stop and very near the pool and boat to DTD. One our favorite locations. Great request!

I could have posted this exact same thing except it's 58 days for us. I don't know how to put the countdown timer on my posts. Can't wait to try a muffaletta and some beignets!

We currently have 2 trips booked for FQ in Dec. and then in Aug. '10. Is it possible to put a twin size air mattress next to the bed where the connecting room door is? We need to carry one on our next trip, our DDs are getting to point in life where they fight all night long in bed. They wake each other up and oh its a nightmare. So, we will carry an air mattress and they will take turns sleeping on it.

I just wanted to thank all the regulars to this thread. I have learned so much about this resort, just by "lurking" over the last years questions. I am so excited, and cannot wait until we arrive. I think we've made the right choice in POFQ. It looks like a truly beautiful place. -- and quiet. Kinda nervous, since this is our families first Disney Vacation. But, you have really helped to calm my nerves and answer my questions. Thank you !

Is it November yet???
