I check in on Friday! I really hope I get a refurb room!! We are part of a grand gathering and have 5 rooms so I guess being in the same building is more important than the refurb room- but I am still hoping for it!!!!

I will make sure to try and get an update on how building 4 is looking and where they are moving to next!

Wheels up at 10:55 this morning. Leaving for the airport shortly.

Hoping for a refurbed room. Had TA ask for one.

We have a King room so I will make sure to take lots of pics to post.

Here's hoping plane lands safely (I HATE to fly.....)

I am leaving Wednesday and I am hoping Bldg 4 will be done by then. I have reserved a handicap room "close to food court and transportation" and Bldg 4 fits the bill--it is where I was in December. It would be a bonus if it were referbed too!

We are going at the end of May and hoping all the rooms are refurbed then too. We love building 4 so that is our request anyway but I am glad it will be definatley be done before we go.

All of POFQ should be finished in April, so you'll be good to go in May with a rehabbed room.

Wow!! I cannot believe how popular Building 4 is becoming. When we went in January last year, most posts I read were hoping for Building 2or 5.

My family too are hoping for Building 4 this week. We had a wonderful room in Building 4 last year and hope for same location. We loved it. I hopped on here wishing someone had reported Building 4 was done.

I guess I will have to wait to see this Saturday when we arrive where we are. My MIL and part of our Grand Gathering is arriving on Friday and we asked to be all placed together if possible.

We will be happy wherever we are, but until I we discover where we are placed, I will still be hoping for Building 4.

I wish everyone a great vacation to all those who are yet to go.

I only requested a "refurbished room" for my trip in 2 weeks. But yesterday, I made our April reservation at FQ and requested Building 4! (looks like I'm in good company!)

It's just next to the main pool area, and costs around $2 per load. Same again for a drying cycle. The machines take quarters.

Good Morning
We have checked into POFQ. Yesterday was a pretty stressful day.
We drove to the airport and went to check in our car and then I discovered that I let our disney tickets at home

!! I had to rush back home and then back to the airport. We made our flight with 5 minutes to spare. Note to self make sure that doesn't happen again. Our flight was uneventful and we arrived at MCO at 2pm. DME got us to POFQ at 345pm.
I am sorry to report that I will not be able to give you pictures of a refurbed KING room as our travel agent screwed up and booked only the standard room even though we asked for a KING room. The good news is that we have a refurbed room in Bldg # 7 (7144).
Rooms are nicely done and we will hit the parks today. If anybody has any questions or needs us to do any investigation please let me know and I will find out what I can.

oh that is too bad about the rough start- sounds like things will be magical from here on out! Maybe we will see you there!! We check in on Friday- all 14 of us!! We requested building 6 or 7 too! I really want to find out if building 4 is done or if they are putting people in there while they are still finishing it? Hope the rest of your trip is great!

Are they still trying to meet requests that have been made over the phone prior to arrival??

I've seen other 'RESORT THREADS' that are saying that rooms are assigned by computer now and CMs aren't letting you add requests. Maybe everyones requests have been entered prior to the switch back in Dec I think?? I guess there's only one way to find out, and that's to call!

We will also be there the end of May. 5/23-5/29. We love building 5 & always request it. I guess building 4 is even more popular.
