3 states, 3 weeks and 2000 miles in a Jeep - Itinerary
This trip was planned as a 5th wedding anniversary trip with DH aka Nathan. As we loved SF so much in our visit 3 years ago that was a good place to start and as we were planning a skiing trip in the next few years Lake Tahoe seemed a good place to check out. I had been out west twice in the 90's so wanted to go back to Yosemite, GC and LV so a route was then planned. As for a car due to driving through the mountains and desert then a Jeep was the best way to go.
June 16th Friday - Fly to SF after starting in Clubhouse Lounge at LHR a treat as it's our 5th wedding anniversary today  - Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf (Weather)June 17th Saturday - Wander around Fisherman's Wharf then drive to Alamo Sq and Golden Gate Park finish at Palace of Fine Arts June 18th Sunday - Off to Union Sq for some shopping Golden Gate Park, Alamo Sq, Nob Hill and the Fairmont Hotel June 19th Monday - Drive across Golden Gate Bridge, then to Sausalito and into the Sonoma and Napa Valleys June 20th Tuesday - Have a last look at SF June 21st Wednesday - Head off to Lake Tahoe - Station House Inn (Weather) June 22nd Thursday - Explore Lake Tahoe ie drive around it June 23rd Friday - Up the Gondola to Heavenly June 24th Saturday - Off to Yosemite - Yosemite View Lodge (Weather) June 25th Sunday - Explore Yosemite, Half Dome and the Falls June 26th Monday - Off to Glacier Point June 27th Tuesday - Drive to Barstow - Holiday Inn (Weather) June 28th Wednesday - Calico Ghost town and Walmart June 29th Thursday - Shopping and relaxing June 30th Friday - Drive to the Grand Canyon - El Tovar (Weather) July 1st Saturday - GC soaking up the scenery on the shuttle along the Rim July 2nd Sunday - Helicopter over the Canyon July 3rd Monday - Off to Las Vegas via the Hoover Dam - Bellagio (Weather) July 4th Tuesday - Have a look at the Strip and do some shopping July 5th Wednesday - Wander up and down the strip and see 'Mamma Mia!' July 6th Thursday - More shopping in the outlets then PotC 2 July 7th Friday - Packing and time for home  So there you are our plans for 3 weeks which show what we actually did each day and where we stayed. Great itinerary! We did something similar last year and loved it. We also stayed at the Bellagio so looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

I keep trying to convert everybody, but they just don't want to be converted
I can only get a tag if its near the weekend. a monday, tuesday and some wednesdays are definately no tag days
