February is so much fun. DS is in a private school so they only get about 1-2 days off for Mardi Gras. Plus, the week we are going just goes better with DH's work schedule. This will probably be the last year we are able to do February.

I have made some ADR's but not all of them yet. I'm surprised that since I am about a month passed the 180 day mark that I got all of the time slots I wanted. Here is what I have so far in no particular order....

Kona (dinner)

San Angel Inn (dinner) - Never tried it.

50's Primetime Cafe (lunch) - A favorite of ours. We skipped it last trip and realized just how much we missed not doing it.

Crystal Palace (breakfast) - Before park opens. It's a tradition for us!

Chef's de France (dinner) - Never tried it.

I also was going to try out the new T-Rex place but they said they aren't taking ADR's for it yet. I could have swore I saw some people have it on their lists of ADR's. Maybe it was a "wish list"....who knows.

So we have 2 dinners at Epcot. So far we have tried Coral Reef twice and LeCellier once. A long time ago we tried Italy but that was back in 1997. I guess we will save that one for next time. I'm also planning to try the fish n chips in England for a lunch one day. Eventually, one day, we will be able to say we've eaten in every country at Epcot!

Besides T-Rex there is one more ADR to make but I'm not sure what to pick. It will be for dinner on a Magic Kingdom night but I'm really hoping that they are having the Pirate & Princess Party that night. Not sure if we want to do something outside of MK or inside MK. Guess it doesn't really matter. We've never tried Liberty Tree Tavern. I believe they are taking away the character's, but how is the food there??

Have you eaten at Kona before (I can't remember if you have)? We enjoyed it on this past trip!

I want to eat at 50's Prime Time next June -- I think my family would get a kick out of it.

Hi Blue ,I am trying Kona for the first time in June , I really like Chef's I had the shrimp and scallops and enjoyed them very much ! I also LOVE the apple crepes . I also do CP but for supper .That's our tradition !!Haven't tries 50's as the menu doesn't appeal too much to me , I guess it'scos' it's home cooking and I want other things !!I'msurprised you could make ressies as I thought they were in the 90day period?????

I still can't make all of our ADRs since we are going Feb 21-28th, and they are only taking them through the 22nd. It's driving the planner in me nuts. They said to try back in mid-October or the beginning of November.

Joining in. Also going in Feb (11-19) Can't wait. You sound alot like me. Stay at home mom of a DS9 and DS4 who is at school and other activities (hockey and soccer mom ). Looking forward to your report. It gets me pumped for my own trip

We ate at Kona for the first time last trip (May) and LOVED IT!! I have some pictures of the food and drinks. I will have to look them up and post them.

50's is so much fun and the pot roast is the best!!

Kona was wonderful when we went in May! That's why it is back on our list for February. I am going to do a mini report on Kona possibly tonight. I have to find the pictures first.

I wasnt' sure what was going on with the whole ADR thing so I just decided to call and see if I could book. Turns out I could! So I guess whatever that was all about is over now.

I have been watching it too. I am very sad that there is no 7pm closing for that week too. I am hoping that they add some more dates. Last time they did move some things around on the day they opened up the ticket sales. I'm hoping this is what happens and that they add dates while we are there. I don't understand why there wouldn't be because we have done it that same week the past 2 years and it's not like there was nobody there!

Oh I see! I was wondering what was going on with the whole ADR thing. This explains why I was able to book mine. At first I thought it was the entire month of Februrary.

Kona was really good! I'll post pic's later today. I'm hoping Chefs will be as good as I'm thinking it will be.

Wow another February visitor and stay at home mom!! I can't wait for this trip. Feb is our favorite time to go.

We also only get 2 days off. I think the week of Mardi Gras is sort of crowded. So I really don't have a desire to try that week.
