Prefered rooms at the Value resorts are rooms that are closer to the food court and bus stops. There is no difference in size or anything different in the room itself.

You can pay for a water view room at the Moderate resorts. Again, no difference in the room itself, just a different view.

It's all about location, location, location.

Proximity to the lobby building.

We stayed in a preferred room once and felt it was a waste of money.

You can pay for a preferred room at the Caribbean and possibly the POR-Riverside (I'm not sure about POR).

There is no preferred location at POR. There definitely is one at CBR (and it was sooo worth it) but I'm not sure about the other mods.

We have paid extra for a water view at POFQ both times, and had a view of the river...beautiful!

We did pay extra for water view at CSR too, for our upcoming trip, as we really don't want a parking lot view. I hope it's worth it!
