I don't know who was saying that they can't believe AKL CL was sold out for their dates in June already.

AKL CL is sold out May 31-June 9th. Those are our dates and we've been trying to add the 31st (we have the 1st-9th booked CL already). We haven't been able to add anything and we've been trying to 09 prices were released. We did room only and turned it to a package.

Now they could release more rooms later on, but as of now there was nothing we could book.

Hello

My DH and I are anxiously awaiting our family's CL stay at WL in January! We have started to discuss what gift(s) we'd like to bring for the CM's in CL. We live in Charleston, SC and we have the only operational American tea plantation in the country not to far from here. We were thinking about bringing tea from there to give to the CM's. Would we put it in one big basket and give it to them to share at check in or should we put a ribbon around the boxes w/ a tag from our family and give them out as we see fit?? And how many would we need?? We're even considering just tipping the cm's considering the economy but we heard that tips are all put together and then given to the cm's equally, which isn't what we really wanted to do. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Or perhaps a different gift idea? We want to take care of the cm gifts during the holiday shopping so we'll have it all taken care of ahead of time. Thanks

I just booked 2 nights at AKL on the Club Level for next May!!!! We are starting out at the BWV for 5 nights and then moving over there as a special treat! I have been reading parts of this thread and I am so excited about staying Concierge for the first time! How early should I e-mail IPO with my requests? Can they help me order some items/gift basket to be waiting in our room? Thanks!

I think your tea idea is really sweet. I would probably do it as a group gift, but that's JMO! I've never stayed WL-CL so have no idea how many CMs there might be. Jay and her family are there now; I'm sure she will be able to fill you in on the lounge & the CM's. Have you seen her TR? You might want to subscribe to it and when she's home and posting about the trip, she would be the one to ask! Here's the link:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1765643

and we expect her back here with pictures and WL-CL information!

my favorite place!! You can contact the IPO now since you have a confirmed reservation. I would send an email with your reservation # and dates. Introduce yourselves and ask any questions -- they are always happy to help! If you know what you want now, (ADRs, Sunrise Safari, Wanyama Safari, etc.) give them the information and they will get those booked when their booking window opens! Yes, they will gladly order items to be waiting in your room! Let them know what types of "gifts" you'd like and what the budget is. They will need your credit card #.

I always make sure I've made contact with them by 200 days from my trip. Then I sit back and wait for them to send me the itinerary when everything is booked!

Dumb Question-My ressie online says I have BC Deluxe-water/pool view. Is that concierge? Disney's site says Deluxe rooms have access to Stone Harbor Club. My email confirmation just says Beach Club. I'm just wondering if I booked Concierge & didn't know it. Thanks for any help.

Thanks so much! In all fairness I have to admit that the tea idea was DH's We wanted to give something that was unique to our area. I think giving it as a group gift is a good idea too. Problem is the tea is in boxes, just like when you buy tea at the store, I wonder how big of a basket I'd need? Thanks for the link to the TR, I will get started reading that. WL is our favorite, but this will be our first CL stay, can't wait

Wow! Yes, deluxe rooms are Club Level! Is your trip soon? It is possible that you were upgraded.

The way you could find out for sure is to send an email to BC Concierge with your reservation #: Yacht.Beach.Club.Itinerary.Planning@disneyworld.co m

Please keep us updated. And if you are on Club Level, we'd love to hear about your stay (with any pictures you care to share!).

I called Disney last night & the CM said he didn't know what the Deluxe meant on the ressie. He said we are staying at the Beach Club and any room there is deluxe. That guy was hilarious. Thanks for the info, I'll try emailing the Beach Club, I don't want to get my hopes up though. I probably already jinxed myself.

Dh and I check in the day after tomorrow (sounds so much closer than "Friday" or "in 2 days"!) for our first club level stay. IPO has been great and has a few things arranged for us. Is it in poor taste to send a final recap email to them to make sure things will be done accordingly or just go and know they will take care of the arrangements?
I really dont want to step on their toes or question their job abilities. I'm just a control freak who has never had a portion of her Disney trip rely on someone else.

How exciting! I don't believe the IPO staff would be at all offended by a recap email. AKL's IPO always sends me an itinerary with the details. And they have always responded cheerfully to my email or phone contacts with them confirming (surprise) details that might not show up on the itinerary!

Have a wonderful vacation. Maybe I'll see you at WDW!

Please post about your BC-CL experience - any information at all is welcome (and pics)!

Rachael, as long as you have a confirmed reservation, you can contact them anytime. I would definitely contact them by early November, but there's no reason why you shouldn't contact them now. They have a form they can email you that you will find helpful. Their email address (and phone #) are in post #1 of this thread.
