I got the new system when I made an ADR yesterday. I thought it was great!

Funny thing is, there's another whole thread here started by someone who was just really angry about the new system. I think the new one is WAY better!!

I also sent a letter commending everyone's service!
Also our IPO gal, was promted to the Dream Squad shortly after! So I am expecting she may have received many letters of gratitiude besides mine!

Going to WDW on a sort of last-minute "hey, let's do it!" 10 year anniversary celebration trip. VERY nervous about making the right choices, forgetting something, missing something, etc. I am a DL pro, but for some reason very overwhelmed with planning WDW trip (maybe because we started 45 days out?).

We are at AKL CL for the first 3 nights and YC CL for the last 4. (Spoiling ourselves a bit since it's our 10 year celebration). We called and called the ADR line several times a day to try to get ressies before we found out CL CMs could do that for us. We have gotten most of what we want so far and Don at AKL CL helped us get a Chef Mickey ressie that alluded us despite all efforts.

Not sure what has me so nervous, but just worried about getting "bad" room location, missing a "have to" that we didn't know about, that sort of thing. Jaycns, thanks for the details in your TR. Any tips for what we must make sure we do that we didn't know we should (like tell them it's our 10 year anniversary - DUH! - never mentioned it!)?

Also looking for any info on YC CL if anyone cares to share. Thanks all!

Mousekeeping Tip Tip

The kids absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the towel animals that were left for us on our cruises. So when they heard that perhaps they would get one at the AKL, they decided to do a little something special with the Mousekeeping money.

They found different online sites that had directions on Money Folding. So they are in the process of folding $10 bills into Girafes, Hippopotomus', a spider (that actually needs 5 bills) etc. to leave for the Mousekeepers.

What a GREAT idea, Susan!! If you can, would you take pictures of some of their creations and post them here?! We'd love to see them!

We had a wonderful stay at YC CL last September! Anything in particular you're interested in?

Great to hear. I haven't been able to find many reports about YC CL visits.

- Is there anything specific room-wise that you would suggest I request that we would not even know we should be thinking about? (location, bed, view, idk LOL).

- Is there anything special at the YC that you would say "Do not miss this!"?

- Did you find the CL CM's helpful? We have booked most of our ADRs on our own, but just wondering overall how they were to helping when you needed something.

Thanks! I appreciate you replying to my post above and look forward to your input.

Here is the girafe and the spider. We haven't finished them all yet. The spider is $9.00 with a five and 4 ones and the girafe is a $10. I'll post more when they finish them all.

Hi Dreams..

Well, I kept my requests to a minimum...Just a King bed....and we got it! We were upgraded to a Lagoon view as well, had booked a garden view! What view did you book?

If GV, perhaps ask for a view of the wedding gazebo....that is a lovely view and sometimes you can see bits of the lagoon as well.
I have read that some get a view of the entrance....

CL CM's....had wonderful experiences with them. The Cm that checked us in, escorted us to our room, made sure we liked it! She even brought us wine, and it wasn't 5 pm yet (when it is served) she even brought us extra.

Our little one was ready to nap, and she said, "Go enjoy some wine on your balcony"....

The Cm's had all our ADR's in order, they even assisted with our DVC Tour arrangements..our PPP tickets, etc..changed ADR times a few times when our little one's nap went longer than anticipated

As far as a "Do not miss this".....enjoying a quiet walk in the morning....the lobby is beautiful to relax in with an adult beverage if you care to partake in one
The lounge was always stocked with drinks, snacks etc....and don't be afraid to ask.

If there is anything else, please let me know. I did post a few photos of our room earlier in this thread.
I hope you enjoy the YC CL, we certainly did!

CSR has not even decided on the final number of concierge that would be required.

Consequently, details have not been fully mapped out. I would not expect any definite information being available before December or January. He has not even been given a layout for the building, so it is a bit away. Like any rehab, there is no guarantee at this time that it will even be in place until after the start of the year.

Thanks for the tip info. Any Atrium or RPC info will be appreciated also!

Also what special unique services have you received from the Club CM?

Is this your first WDW trip? When you are at AKL CL, are you going to be there on one of the days of sunrise safari or Wanyama Safari? If so, definitely do at least one of them. I have only done the sunrise safari so far but it was incredible!
