Question Tiffany town cars

Hi All

I'm really late with my planning this year. Can't believe it's 3 weeks away and i haven't even got my itinary done yet. . After sitting on the virgin transfer last year for well over an hour, then being the last drop off at CSR making the whole transfer over 3 hours we decided ages ago to treat ourselves to a town car tranfer- but then forgot to book it. I've been looking on line tonight (very briefly!) and found Tiffany town cars to be the cheapest so far at $109 round trip from MCO to POFQ. Sound a good price? Anyone have any experience with them? Is it worth doing the free supermarket stop? All advice very welcome.

TIA

Smile

We have used Tiffany TC twice before with no problems

We also find the free grocery stop very useful to stock up on room snacks, breakfast bars and drinks It's free so you may as well take advantage - if only to stretch your legs and wonder round the supermarket LOL

It is nice to see your driver waiting for you at baggage reclaim with your name on his board
They also give you a hand with your bags as well.

Remember to factor in the tip as well (we gave about $10 each way).

As an alternative check out FL Tours as well:

Hi Tia
I have not ever used Tiffany town cars before so cannot comment on their service but have used Mears and Happy Limo who are more expensive at the moment. I have however noticed that on the Tiffany town cars website there is a coupon link whereby you can print off to get an extra $5.00 off your rental bringing it down to $104.
One word of warning, once you have done the private transfers you will not want to go back to using the Virgin transfers again. Have a great holiday.

We have used Tiffany about 4 times and found them to be excellent. Waiting for you at MCO (and once at Sanford) with your name on a board is very reassuring. The drivers have always been fine and they have never been late picking up. Highly recommended.

We used Legacy Town Car, the last 3 years. They were fine but last year had problems with the return driver saying he needed more money as we had paid in full going to another driver

We might try Tiffany this year.

We just used them this past week for transfers from Sanford to POFQ. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever, very prompt and let us change our pickup time with ease.

Thanks for all your replys. Do you know if they would let us have a different pick up point on the return. We would love to get picked up at MGM instead of making our way back to POFQ?

Yes, we have been picked up from a different hotel to where we were dropped off. Just confirm this again with the driver when they drop you off.

I've used them a few times. They have been fantastic for pick ups. But a word of caution - there have been quite a few occasions where I have seen people waiting for pick-up and it being so late they were getting panicky (once at wilderness lodge when we were being dropped off). They have been a bit late for us but we usually built in lee-way to the time we asked them to come.

Last few trips we have used Magical Express for pick-up and it has been great. Going back I drop off the hire car that we have timed right to get from disney and drop off at the airport to go home.

We used Tiffany from Sanford - POFQ last year. They were good but on the way back sent another company who took us the long way around (no tolls). We made use of the grocery stop. Just come back & this time we used Samtransportation.com. Brilliant, he was waiting for us, had grocery stop, used toll roads both ways and it only cost $200 including tip.
