Guess what gals? I found someone to go with me to the Houston show! WOO HOOO!!!
I asked a friend of mine while at an LSU Alumni Association football kickoff party tonight (btw, GEAUX TIGERS!). She said she loved them when she was younger and she's all over it like white on rice. My husband stood by, rolling his eyes. Back off, buddy!
As much as I would love to buy my tickets like NOW, I'm holding off. We're leaving for Louisiana tomorrow (yeah, going TOWARDS the hurricane) for the LSU game. When we get back, NKOTB game on!
Now, if only I can find a way to use my media credentials to get a little closer to the show .... hmmm.

I live in North Jersey and sometimes they do repeat popular events on those days so before you make the long trek make sure they are going to be LIVE.

remember when we would flip open the big bopper, bop and so on and see the picture for the first time and be like, "OMG look at them, how cute Jordan with no shirt (insert scream here) and Donnies hat & glasses (add another high pitched scream) and Joe and his.......well you get the idea!

and for me, my friend and I were always standing in the local drugstore while doing said things!

i'll bet the ladies that worked there thought, "oh not again with the screaming"

And then we would spend our allowances and buy all of the magazines available and proceed to plaster our walls with the BEAUTIFUL posters inside!

I bugged my mom so much at the grocery store for those magazines every week that she just broke down and got me subscriptions.

Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, Bop, Big Bopper ... and Bop and Big Bopper always had posters from the same shoots (I always felt kinda ripped off with that one)!

I would take the magazines a step further and cut out the small pics from the articles and post them on the wall too. Seeing actual paint on my walls was not an option!

Did anyone else ever pick up the magazines and feel the dread of "OMG, I hope NKOTB and Corey Haim (or insert your other fave here) are not sharing the same poster page!" Lucky for me, the guys I always thought were "gross" were on the back of all the pages with the hot guys.

Or how about reading those cheesy Q&As with "What are you looking for in a girl?" and read their responses and be like "Oh, that's me!"

HAAA! I'm telling you, I am laughing out loud at how oblivious tween girls are (and unfortunately, I was one). Like a 16- to 19-year-old would have looked twice at a 12-year-old! Oh, but we could dream ... yes, we could dream.
