Best place to sell VHS Disney tapes and DDs Disney costumes?

Somewhere else?

Yardsale won't get very good prices, I wouldn't think.

And are VHS Disney tapes even worth anything at all?? Does anyone still buy VHS?? We still watch VHS, but DD has gotten old and doesn't care about Disney anymore (except Hannah Montana).

I would think ebay would probably get you the most for your money?? We bought a Disney VHS about the parks before taking my son, he watched it until it broke...should have transferred it to DVD LOL You may get a little bit for it, maybe you should just include it with the costume as a bonus LOL

I would also like to know the answer to this. My kids Disney VHS consists of every animated Disney movie ever made. I never know if I should keep it or dump because VHS is almost obsolete.

This may sound crazy, but have you tried taking your tapes to a used book store? There is one near me and they give store credit for used books, as well as VHS tapes brought in. They always have tons of Disney VHS, and they sell them for $3 a piece. You won't make a ton of money/credit off of them, but they might be able to take the whole lot off your hands.

If you just want to get rid of them, try your local library or pre-school. They really are not going to get much anywhere. I have about 60 tapes & cannot get rid of them anywhere.

For the costumes I would suggest ebay, craigslist or a local consignment shop/sale.

I actually just purchased several Disney VCR tapes this summer. My middle dd is 13 and the youngest is 2. We missed a good number of the videos after middle dd got older and I wanted them for the youngest. Our budget absolutely wouldn't allow us to buy DVDs but we have three working VCRs in our house so I went searching for VCR versions. I found everything I wanted at Goodwill and at a "Antique" mall. Most were priced either $2 or $3. I've also seen people selling them on craigslist for $2 each. Maybe someone would buy the entire collection for a higher price on ebay or craigslist though. Otherwise, many of the used CD stores around here also purchase movies and video games.
