Leave a Legacy / Buy A Brick ... Anything left to buy?

Help!

I have been trying to find something cool to do when I take the family back to Disney world and I was thinking something along the lines of Leave a Legacy in Epcot (you got your name engraved on the wall) or Buy a Brick (name on a brick...).

Anyone know of something along these lines?

Buy a Brick has been closed for about 10 years now, and Leave a Legacy for at least 5 years.

I don't know of any other programs like this for now.

Why, yes, there is! You can buy a bunch of stuff that's exactly the same from shop to shop, and even from Disneyland to Disney World!

How exciting, huh?!

Exactly!!! I want to buy stuff that is different! (and that I can afford!!)
My DH asked for a personal flying contraption thing - only $80,000!!!

Oh well.....I was hoping they came up with another wall, floor, door thing that I could get my families name engraved on for a couple of hundred bucks!

I'm sure they will come up with a new money making idea any minute - that we will all rush to buy!!!!

Leave a Legacy is less than 2 years. I did it with my DD on her 7th birthday in May 2006. Then I tried to do it with my DS in Dec 2006 and we did get our photo taken and all but they somehow lost our photo and they credited my credit card. They sent me a postcard this March telling me I could call and discuss it with them but I never got around to calling them.

How about you donate some money to Make a Wish on behalf of your family and to help send another family to Disney.

You don't always have to "have" something to leave a legacy......

Here's an idea. How about getting Disney to start a "Buy a piece of the mouse." promotion. For a few hundred or thousand dollars guests could have their family's name and trip date engraved on Mickey Mouse or other characters. Imagine having your picture with Mickey for years to come with your familys name engraved on his face or clothes. This could be as cool as the sponser endorsements for Nascar. Hey, just a thought. Just kidding by the way

We had a wonderful time, but did have our moments!

Pretty much down to my hips on one side, but nice and perky on the other

How about a donation to Make a Wish, giving some sick child a trip to Disney?

You won't walk out with anything concrete (OK, pun intended) but you'll be doing something wonderful for a child who wouldn't get the chance to see Disney otherwise.

edited to add: oops, sorry, I guess I should have read the other posts first. But I'll leave it as a second to Zeeb's suggestion.

Leave a Legacy closed in June of last year. I know because I was able to get 4 tiles on the last day they were selling them. I was thrilled to get in before they closed it down.

I didn't like the Leave legacy Tile program- you could only do 2 people & I think the things they are on look awful in Epcot but we did do a brick for our honeymoon. I wish they would bring back this program- there are so many places they could put bricks! I would LOVE to buy one for each of my girls! What a great money maker for Disney!

I agree about the stone things in front of Epcot for Leave A Legacy...they are an eyesore, but hey they are there...so we figured we may as well do the tiles. You never had to put a photo on the tile though-we have a mix...some of our tiles are photos and others are all text. We have a brick by MK and I too wish they would bring that program back. They are much nicer and there is always a spot they can put more.

Well, with that kind of money, think of all the Disney Vacation Club points you could buy! You could stay there for months at a time, every year!
