No updates really. I'm not even close to my PS. I've been so busy lately that it really sucks. I've gotta get my butt in gear...

Alright so I know I have been a bad Diser but I haven't had much time to update lately. I've been busy with Mom, Dad, wedding planning, work, planning the SIL's baby shower, etc. But I'm making it a point to update! I've been saving lots and lots of pictures on my computer for this planning session so I'll be uploading them according to the right "areas".
I'll do floral first. I found a listing on eBay for a complete silk floral package including: -Bouquet (1) -Bouquet Toss Bouquet (1) -Maid of Honor Bouquet (1) -Brides Maid Bouquet (1) -Mothers Corsages (2) wrist ones -Grandmothers Corsages (2) wrist ones -Grooms Boutonniere (1) -Best Man Boutonniere (1) -Groomsman Boutonniere (1) -Fathers Boutonniere (2) -Grandfathers Boutonniere (2) -Centerpieces (4) -Altar/Head Table Piece (1) -Pew Floral Decor (12) All for $350.00 including shipping and handling! Onto the pictures. ![]() This is the Bride's bouquet but I'm getting a round one, not a cascade. The handle will be hand tied in white ribbon. ![]() These are the corsages for the Mothers and Gradmothers but I want wrist ones. ![]() This is a close-up of the detail. ![]() This is the Groom's boutonniere. ![]() Groomsmen and Father boutonniere. ![]() This is the Matron of Honor and Bridemaid bouquets. Obviously the Matron of Honor's bouquet will be bigger that the Bridemaid bouquet and both will be hand tied in red ribbon. Up next... cake ideas!

Now for the cakes I like:
![]() I like this but I'd get 2 tier. I'd get the bottom 2 tiers but in red, black, and white with yellow accents. ![]() DF wants this cake but I want the mad hatter style. We'll see. ![]() I know a fellow DisBride had this cake and I saved it because it's so darn gorgeous. It's so simple yet so elegant and pretty. It's my 2nd choice. ![]() Mickey's Delight! I love it! Now to decide which cakes and fillings to tast on the PS. Votes, opinions, etc.? Up next... attire ideas!

For the guys attire I'll be going through Mens Warehouse. I have the tux picked out and the vests. On to the pictures.
![]() ![]() I love the simplicity and classic look to it. Product code: 1780 if anyone's interested. Now DF will wear a red vest and the Fathers will wear white. I've picked out 2 styles and DF can choose between the two. ![]() ![]() Product Code: 8853BLCHE ![]() ![]() Product Code: 8897RORED The girls dresses are Alfred Angelo in the cherry color. ![]() Front. ![]() Back. I love the sweep train. Product Code: Product Code: 7026 ![]() Matron of Honor will wear a tiara and have a larger bouquet. No flower girl or ring bearer. Up next... linen/floral(?) ideas!

Now for the linens and small real floral ideas! All the real floral I'll have is a very light coverage of red and yellow rose petals on the aisle and tables. On to the pictures.
![]() I’m getting an aisle runner and adding a monogram to it. I’d like a very light amount of red and yellow rose petals on each side. I’m getting 12 pew floral bows for the pews and I’d like the pews swagged. I’d like the aisle runner to start at the base of the stairs. Depending on pricing I'll go with table runners creating a cross at the center where my centerpiece will stand or sheer overlays swagged. ![]() Table runners will be in red. ![]() I love this look! But I'm affraid in order to get that whole look I'll need chair covers as well. Is this too fancy for a lunch reception? ![]() I may get yellow napkins and get them folded in that mannor and put the menus in there and have them over the plates. Are menus even necessary for a buffet?! ![]() Again, from a fellow DisBride! Major props to you! I love the way it's decorated. The bouquets, the votives, the rose petals. I want mine exactly like this! ![]() I will be getting the sweetheart table on a riser. I love this except mine will have a sweetheart table floral piece as well as votives and rose petals. ![]() I'm getting a candy buffet for favors. I love this look! NOTE: I want all tables decorated with the same linens, votives, and very light amount of red and yellow rose petals. And so far I have 6 pages of questions for my WP. Up next... hair and make-up ideas!

Holy update, Gail!!! You put a lot here! I am so excited for you I don't know where to begin!
I had to laugh, cause I have Mary's pics saved, too! lol I LOVE the sweep train! I LOVE all the cakes! Gorgeous! Are you doing a topper? Maybe you could compromise with that somehow? As far as flavors I really want to try the passion fruit one! And I hear almond is good too! And youhave to try the chocolate, right? Are you doing a dance floor? Can they do risers at CG? Have you asked about the candy buffet? Are they setting it all up? You know all CG specific info I like hunger for! ![]() I am so happy for you Gail!! It is going to be GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!

So the PS is on my birthday, March 18th at 1 PM and I have a hair and make-up trial with Beaute Speciale on DF's birthday, March 19th at 1 PM. I can't decide if I want half up or and up do but I've found tons of pictures for hair. But make-up? I'm just not quite sure. I'm not really a make-up person and my face doesn't hold make-up too well.
Hair: ![]() Love the part, the side sweep bangs, and the curls. I'd have the veil tucked in the back where it's pulled back. I'm not a fan of the veils on top of Bride's heads. ![]() It's different. I love it! ![]() I like the way it's pulled back. ![]() Another fellow DisBride. I love the part and the fact that her hair isn't "glued" to her head. ![]() So neatly pulled back. The part looks kind of interesting too. I'd have the veil at the top of the up do. Make-Up: ![]() Simple and not over done. I'd need false eyelashes because I deffinately don't have full long eyelashes. I'll add my DIY stuff tomorrow.

WOW Gail!!!! Awesome updates!!! Love the flowers.
I vote for the mad hatter cake. I would say go with Almond cake with amaretto filling, my fave!!!!!!! I like the first vest/bowtie combo. You're linen ideas are gorgeous!! I don't think the 2nd option is too formal for lunch. I think it really depends on what look you are going for!

Oh, and I just saw the part about chair covers. I am not too keen on the extra costs either. I was thinking of just doing the sheer tie but leaving the chairs uncovered. So, that might be an option too.
![]() I LOVE the half up half down look of the first one.

I am doing a topper. I have the Lenox Mickey and Minnie topper. ![]() But depending on the cake I may get the chocolate castle and decorate the table with the Lenox topper. You know? Michelle told me I have to narrow it down to 3 flavors of cake and 3 flavors of fillings but they all sound so good! It's almost impossible to pick. I am doing a DJ and a dance floor. I'm not much of a dancer and neither is DF but our guests love to dance so it's almost a must! They do risers for the sweetheart table but I'm not sure if it's free or extra. I plan on finding out though on my PS. I haven't found out about the candy buffet yet. I know they do it and will set it up but I'm not sure of the cost yet. I have the candies picked out and everything so far so we'll see what she says. If it's too expensive I'll put little mints in a box wrapped with ribbon or something. I will most deffiantely write a TR about my PS trip though so you'll get all your little info. I know us CG Brides have to share all we can find out. There's not too many out there.

I love the half up half down one too. It's beautiful. I think I'm just going to print all of them out and show Ana and have her decide what would look best on my oblong face.
