Add us on!

We are going for the first time in Jan. most likely the 10th-18th. Is this a good week do you think for those Jan vets out there? We think we might stay at POFQ and try the DDP for the first time. We will have our brand new baby with us, our son is due in mid Nov. so we are very excited! I have been to WDW every year for the past 19 years sometimes twice and it is definately better when you have your own kids!

Hmm, just reading through this thread... We were planning on going to both water parks during our trip. Now I feel a bit silly!! I knew it wouldn't be boiling hot, but I thought it would still be warm enough to wear shorts and go swimming!

So... maybe not then!?

Nobody can predict the weather 6 months in advance, so we'll just have to wait and see, I guess!

We'll be coming from Australia, where it will be summer in January, so I'm sure we'll feel the cold in Orlando! Hehee. Maybe we could plan another day at Universal, since we were going to squeeze both parks into one day...

Food for thought!!

Welcome Snykymom, Billysmom, and Ginaluvsdisney!!

Snykymom - Looks like some great dining you have picked out! The only one I've been to on your list is LeCellier, it was great!

Billysmom - Looks like a good plan you've got for conquering the parks! I have to drag my boys out of bed at 7am!

Gina - Congrats on your new addition! I'm sure it will be a magical trip for all of you!

Okay.... where is the tantrum smiley?????

This inconvenience of waiting so much longer than I planned might be paying it forward and we will have BEAUTIFUL weather in January instead of...

Let's hope!

Last year, you could have went, there were people going, but usually only 1 park is open at that time and opening hours are limited. Where are you staying? The pools are heated and my kids loved swimming there after the parks. For me, it's a little too chilly, but I am also a baby when it comes to being cold in the water. Good luck with your plans

Yes, only one water park will be open. We've never been to either, even with free water parks & more passes the last 2 May's. There just doesn't seem to ever be enough time! I've never been to Florida in January either, so I don't know what we'll get for weather. Sounds like it's hit or miss. I hope you will be able to enjoy a day in the water!

HAHA

Yes, I think this one is tantrum -->
Or maybe this is what we look like when we log on and see park hours "unavailable" -->

I sure hope you're right about the paying it forward thing!

Maybe this needs to be our new sign: or because most of us are seeming a might bit frustrated!

I cannot believe how fast this thread is growing....9 pages already?
I told DH that it appears as if we won't be able to book our ADR's until Oct and he was glad, he said that means he won't have to think about it The DH hates the planning part and leaves most of it up to me, that way I guess if everyone has a horrible time they can all blame me

Okay so here's a question about the 90 day ADR thing.....if you are staying cl the IPO will be booking all of your ADR's for you, so..........what do you think the chances are that IPO will still book ADR's at 180 days or before for people staying cl?

I'm hoping this may be our way around the 90 day thing that may happen I have no idea if it will work though, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

That's a good question SplashMtn, maybe you'll luck out and get your ADR's soon!

I know, my DH leaves ALL of the planning up to me. That's really the way I prefer it though! I might be just a bit controlling or OCD!

Yep, this thread is growing quick! I didn't expect this many responses for January! But I'm glad I did, we will have so much fun helping each other pass the time for the next 6 months!
