AAA Disney's Story Time

Picked travel documents from AAA today. There is a voucher for Disney Store Time in MK at Expo Hall Theater. Anyone been to this recently? What character appears to read the story?

We've done this twice, in 2006 and 2007, and we'll be doing it this August if we can fit it into our schedule.

The characters vary. Once we had the Fairy Godmother, and another time we had Alice. The CM working the event (it was the same person both times we went) told me he didn't know who would be there until that person showed up. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's what he said.

It's a nice little show. Enjoy it!

I'm curious about this too. My AAA TA said it could be booked 90 days in advance. Is this true? Or can we just "wing it"?

I think the voucher says you have to make reservations in advance.

I have heard it is really cute. A co-worker of mine loved it and she didn't have any children with her.

BTW you only get the Story Time if you book with the dining plan.

I have 2 boys - 8 and 12. Would they (mostly the younger one) like this? We've booked our package through AAA.

I was told it must be booked in advance. If you look through your documents you will find a direct phone number to make that ADR. I started a thread like this a while back and some people shared their pics. Take a look....

BTW we had Peter Pan and it was so cute watching him tell the story. Plus there are some great photo ops in there too. We all loved it!

Did you have to book your vacation through AAA or just be a member?

You have to book with them. The slips come in your travel documents.

We loved it

We had Peter Pan for our storytime. It was one of the best times for the whole trip.

Peter Pan was a great interaction, and even though my kids tended to, ummm, dominate the conversation he was incredibly patient and funny.

Great photo op afterwards as well with no pressure.

Your package must be booked with AAA to get the Storytime. It's only available on packages with the dining plan.

Reservations are required and the voucher you receive in your documents must be presented for admission.

Characters are subject to change. Oftentimes, it is the Fairy Godmother, but others have been known to appear as well.

The number to the AAA story time is 1-(407)-939-7946. You do need a reservation, there was three afternoon times on three different days. So depending on how many days you are there you may need to adjust the day you are going to Magic Kingdom.
The pictures of Peter Pan are really cute.
They also told me that they never know who will show up. And each person in your party must have the AAA voucher.

And they really do check names and vouchers carefully. When you pick up your documents from AAA, you'll have details about how to make the reservations.

We've had Fairy Godmother and another time Aladdain. It's well worth the 1/2 hour or so to go. Character interaction is great. The children aren't rushed when they get autographs and pictures. It is also for a pretty small group of people, I would say 100 tops. You do need to book it in advance. There are a few days and times to pick from. Enjoy!
