Taxi cost from MCO to WDW!

A collegue is of to the world around the same time as us, and there are 8 in her party, and have hired an 8 seater, I have explained that she might find it tight with all there luggage as we normally put luggage on spare seats, but that some members of her party could travel by taxi to wdw, but as this is not something we had done, I wondered if anyone could give me any idea roughly how much in $ this would cost, so that I can tell her.
Thanks

If you book a Mears car its about $60, I would think a taxi might be a little more than this.

If they are staying onsite some of them could book Magical Express and just let the 8 seater take the luggage

Taxi from MCO to Epcot area would be approx. $53 plus tip.

A pre-booked Towncar transfer would be $65 plus tip.

A Mears airport shuttle is $19 per person.

Magic Express would be best if staying on-site

I believe it's free

I've only heard of a couple of little problems - your bags often don't arrive at the resort until a few hours after you do and they tend to pick you up quite early for your return trip to the airport - apart from that it's a good deal if your are not renting a car.

as tim says ME if free if staying on site,But you have to pre book it with disney, can be done by phone or web site(someone will post address)And if you pick up your own bags up from airport and take them to the bus yourself you dont have to wait for them to arive if you used the yellow tags

dont worry about the bus waiting for you,as there running all day,If you plan on picking up your own bags dont put on the yelow ME labals ,if you did the lugage handlers will take them off before luggage carosell,
For the americans ME is beter as they get in early and go to the park,so when they return to there room later in the day there bags are in the room
For us from the uk as we arive late, most would not go to a park so waiting 2-3 hours for luggage is a pain
We always pick our bags up,so there with us when we get to the resort
Dont worry if plane is delayed as ME runs up to 2 hours after last plane landed

no,you have to pre book, origanaly you could just turn up and show your room reservation number.but there was a hue and cry of unfair from local taxi firms ect about losing buisnes,so to calm them down disney had to make pepole pre book iam affaid, you will be surprised how much lugage fits in a 8 seater,,and dont forget its only for 2 journys to and from airport.you should cope
