They have great pictures and lots of info about the resorts.
Thanks for the info!

I did look on All Ears and a bunch of places ... the only place I found a pic was on the Luxury Guide site and it was only of the sitting area. It looked nice and big, though!

How late is SAB open..?

Hi!

We have our first stay at BCV this October!!! Normaly we hit the parks for extra magic hours each night..but looking at the calendar seems there are limited nights this fall. I scanned thorough the thread but couldn't seem to find..how late is SAB open each night?

Thanks!!!

Typically during the fall SAB is open 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The summer hours are much more extended, but SAB does close much earlier in the fall. The quiet pools are open 24 hrs.

Any thoughts what hours might be during early February off-season ?

We also really enjoyed the 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM early August. We did a couple of late night swims, it was fun! This was the latest we have seen SAB stay open in many years.

I guess I was mistaken about the quiet pools, they used to be 24 hrs. We did not do any quiet pool swimming this trip.

That's too bad, with quite a few days of parks closing at 7-7:30 when we are there. Our kids are late teens, they are goint to have get up earlier this trip and do the pool one day before the parks...

Thanks!

Are there any rooms in the YC you can watch the fireworks at EPCOT? If not is there a good spot to see them from at BC?

You'd have to book a waterview room most likely at the furthest end of the resort (furthest from the lobby) to see the fireworks.... BUT..... last year we were facing the parking lot of the YC on the 5th floor and we could see WISHES from our balcony!!! What an amazing surprise that was!

You can see the fireworks from Illuminations from the bridge between the Boardwalk and BC and a somewhat obstructed view from SAB and most places along the beach area.

We were std. CL at YC in January and also saw Wishes from our balcony as well. As far as a fireworks view from YC we were in room 2007 a couple of stays back and had a good fireworks view on clear nights. When the humidity is high the smoke blots out your view after a while.

Hi all- Just back from 8 glorious days at our Beach Club! We got off the Magical Express bus and were greeted by a cast member who said "Hello ______ Family!" ( using our last name!) I thought it was customary until she lead us into the hotel and into an elevator. I knew something was up when she asked if we heard about the year of a million dreams..... (I admit for a brief second I thought we were Castle Suite or cruise line winners!) She then walked us to the concierge desk and checked us in!!!! I had often heard of free upgrades, but never hoped for one- I was shocked! The room was absolutely stunning- newly renovated and a view of Spaceship Earth! (I promise pictures when I unpack the camera!) The beds are heavenly- a 6 inch pillow top at least! The lounge was great for breakfasts and drinks, but we were at parks all afternooon and evening and didn't use it much. Stormalong Bay was fantastic! not too warm or crowded at all (I think the renovations are keeping the crowds low- and possibly why we got the upgrade!) The lifeguards are wonderful and allowed us to use our clear tubes we brought from home. They were sort of unnecessary though- since my kids just liked the whirlpool / quicksand / slide and not the lazy river section. We passes along the tubes and our stroller at the end of our stay to a British family who seemed pleased to have them- the tube we were permitted to use is in one of the photos- I ordered them online for $9.99
Have a fantastic trip to all you future Beach Clubbers!

Sure- I got them at:
http://www.parpool-spa.com/Page/Toys...l_lounges.html

SEVYLOR SEAT RING Seat Ring
Heavy duty, clear PVC vinyl inflatable 42" ring gives you an inflatable "ledge" comfortable for adults as well as children.
Our Web Price $9.99

They worked great and were permitted in Stormalong Bay. To rent the tubes it is $10.00 per day or $3.00 per hour.

Have fun!
