DHS Animation Academy

When we did Animation Academy years ago at DisneyQuest, it was done electronically on a computer screen and then you could purchase a print-out of your drawing.

Does the Animation Academy at DHS work the same way?

The reason I ask is that we did Animation Academy at Disneyland Paris on our last visit and they handed out paper and pencils. I actually liked it a lot better because I like to draw and it was more natural than using a stylus on a computer screen. You also got to keep your drawing without having to purchase it.

We did two back-to-back sessions, drawing Mickey and Donald. Here are my finished drawings:

No it's paper and pencil and you take the paper with your drawing with you.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the paper? We wanted to get a mailing tube to store them in for safety's sake, and I know they won't fit in a standard pringles can (tried that one in a pinch last trip)

Glad to hear it. That's a lot better than the electronic method. I can't wait to check it out next time we're at DHS.

Thanks. The Goofy sketch I did at DisneyQuest years ago was pathetic (I didn't bother to get a print-out because it was so bad!), but I've gotten a lot more practice sketching and drawing since then.
