Anybody out there with any design ideas? We have dinner planned at YSH
We celebrated my DH's birthday at ESPN Club during football season, so I asked for a football design. They told me that it had to be "Disney" (which was fine by me), so I said, "Maybe Mickey holding a football". And that's what they did.

Does he have any favorite sports, or Disney movies? Or maybe his favorite character? Or since it's for graduation, maybe use his school colors? I like ugadog99's idea of graduation Mickey too!

Maybe I am being unrealistic!

Also, would I call the cake hotline of the GF bakery?
Yes, call the cake hotline. I think that sounds doable (and very pretty) - I'd definitely ask and see what they can do for you!

Question Question About HDD

DH and I plan to have dinner with our boys at the Hoop Dee Doo the night of our anniversary....Can we have a cake delivered there? We are not wild about the dessert there anyway.

Isn't that wild for a cake....lol. We paid $25 last year and it was a horrible cake, so I am hoping that by ordering something special it will be fresh and good. The CM said the cake will feed 16 and there will be 6 of us . We will be eating cake for breakfast for a few days......... The cake you ordered was beautiful.

I am surprising my parents with an Illuminations Cruise. They haven't been to the world since '76. There will be 7 of us. My mom cannot have strawberries. Anyone have ideas for something to have on the cruise that would be doable??

This one was for my son's 6th birthday...
Liberty Tree Tavern - Jan 2008
Chocolate butter cream with yellow cake
Don't remember the price or size - maybe about $40 - $45
There were 7 of us, and there was plenty left over...

In January 2008, we celebrated my father's 70th birthday with a fireworks cruise on the Grand One. We ordered cake, coffee and soda and had the yacht decorated. This was a surprise & a splurge....well worth it!

The cake was from the Grand Floridian.
* I think it was whipped cream. The filling was strawberries and custard. Very yummy! There was 12 of us and we had plenty left over.
I don't remember the price...sorry.

Has anyone tried these cakes or know how much they cost? I am wanting to do something for ds on his birthday and the pirate cake looks interesting. I don't want anything too big or elaborate, just something special for his b-day.

We have one on order for next month (the princess version). When I added it to the ADR they said the cost is $15.

We could get it at 1900 we are going there for dinner but it is our very last night at WDW. I don't know what to do.

What do you guys think?

Breakfast at CRT or 1900 Park Fare for Dinner on our last day?

Thanks~
We did the slipper dessert at breakfast at CRT this past November...it was wonderful! It was the perfect taste of sweetness after our breakfast (if that makes sense?). It was my daughter's 5th birthday and it was the perfect way to celebrate...a trip to BBB and then breakfast at CRT! In fact all 5 of us shared the dessert (not that it's huge, but it certainly hit the spot after a big breakfast). Here's some pics:
