Chickyann - We're in Tamworth, about 5 hours from Sydney. Where abouts are you??
Disneygrl36 - I know, I often forget that we're not all from the same place, and I have to double check that I'm not using words that can be confusing for people who aren't Australia... I'm just fixing up the next post now and then I'll post it.

Back out on Mainstreet we spotted this little fellow.
![]() I think it’s Dale isn’t it? I always thought Chip had a red nose, but apparently it’s just a different type of brown... I’m a bit confused here... I know we rode Splash Mountain several times during our trip. It is quite possible that now is one of them... Quite possible, but I’m not 100% sure... So anyway, at some stage we headed over to Pirates Lair. Really to us, all this area is, is a photo opportunity place. So we took lots of photos... ![]() ![]() ![]() We even found a hidden Mickey! ![]() And a highlight for Chris for today – A Bench!! ![]() ![]() ![]() I got a bit bored of Pirates Lair after a while. I get a little claustrophobic in small, dark, confined places, where I don’t know where they lead. So the tunnels were a little weird... But I enjoyed some of them, like the ones that were interactive – Davey Jones Chest, and the gold that you reach for... So anyway, we headed back off the island. And according to my pictures, over towards Winnie The Pooh – we quite possibly rode HM again here somewhere. I didn’t mind Winnie the pooh. ![]() Nothing to write home about, but a nice ride all together. Then, something I’d been waiting a long time for!!! POOH CORNER!! ![]() Insert Grand Music Here! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I really wanted one of those strawberries, but even though we had lots of money saved up specifically for spending on over priced items, I just couldn’t pay that much for them!! And of course! What I’d waited so long to try! ![]() I tell you what, this holiday really became the holiday for trying as many types of Disneyland food as I could! What with Tigger Tails, Pineapple whips, Monte Christos, churros, the bengal BBQ skewers, loaded baked potato soup, mickey waffles and pancakes! There were so many things everywhere that I wanted to try, I don’t think I even got half of them! More of this day coming up soon... Where did all the time go???

Really enjoying your trip report! I don't think I could have bought one of those over-priced strawberries either! Yesterday, I just dipped two dozen of a box of huge, luscious strawberries in chocolate in about 10 minutes. The 4 lb box cost just $3.88 and the excellent dark dipping chocolate cost just $2.50! On the other hand, I also just booked 5 tickets for the Fantasmic Premium Seating so I guess I do spend on a few over-priced things!

Chickyann - no way! I lived in Gunnedah for about 10 years or so. Small World...
To everyone else, sorry I'm taking so long to finish this! I'm just getting so confused, and I'm making it worse for myself by not getting on and finishing it sooner! I'll try and post an update after work this arvo...

Hi Bec,
I've just read your TR to date, and I'm LOVING it (I think in part because it's helping me get so excited for our own trip )Can I ask, what sort of camera you used ? They are some great photos. I have a very good digital SLR, but don't want to lug that to DL every day, so will be in the market for something like a Sony Cybershot. Another question - is it just the DISers who take photos of food on display ? Does one get stared at for doing things like that ? LOL ! Not that it's going to worry me, am just interested.... Ohhhh, so excited ! Thanks for sharing. Keep it coming Cheers, Sally (who will start a TR probably tomorrow, with plans in the lead-up)
