Thanks - I love mojitos, and that sounds like fun!

Like the PP said there were 4 different types of Mojitos. Except with our tasting we all mixed our own. They were definitely full size. Ours were also a traditional Mojito, melon, raspberry & caipirinha. The only thing in our glasses when we sat down was the mint leaves, lime & sugar. We each had a muddler to muddle the mint leaves & lime.

I guess it all depends on who the bartender is leading the tasting.

If you're ever on the Magic find Ann-Marie from Jamaica. She led all of our tastings (tequila, martini & mojito) and she is FABULOUS!

Oh and we did the mojito tasting RIGHT AFTER a martini tasting. Boy were we out of it after that

We'll be on the Magic next summer - I'll try to find Ann-Marie if she is still there.

Boy, I wish our trip was sooner!

I'm guessing that is the difference. We were also on the Magic but it was Roberto that led our tasting.

It may have also been an issue of timing. Our tasting was in Animator's Palate at 4pm. So, toward the end, they were actually rushing us out so they could set up the tables for early dining. Other tastings I've done have been in Diversions or Sessions which makes a lot more sense. It seemed like poor planning to have it in one of the main dining rooms.

More pics, please!

Couple of questions...

What is in the Tropical Depression?

And, has anyone been to the champagne tasting? How much and how was it?

Honestly, don't ask me what the Caipirinha was because by that point, I was too tipsy to tell. These were, what looked to me, to be full size drinks. Mojitos tend to be served in highball glasses, and these were more of lowball or pony glasses, but it was still a lot of alcohol.

Most of the settings were already mixed and ready to go but there were a few that had one drink not ready. The tasting leader had the person sitting at that place actually help make that drink and explained to the rest how they were doing it.
Wow, I haven't seen a mojito tasting. That sounds wonderful!

We just got off the Fantasy & I LOVED the raspberry mojito we made at our Mixology class. Does anyone happen to get the recipe for it?

Another silly question. Do you get to keep the decorative drink glass that says Disney Cruise on it?

I've been to a champagne tasting on the Magic - it was $15 or $20 (DH signed us up, so I'm not sure) and it was in Sessions. We had 5 or 6 different champagnes and sparkling wines, including both Rosa Regale (which we'd had before in another wine tasting) and Fairy Tale Cuvee (which I adore!). There were enough different types to give us a good idea of what kinds of champagnes we like - and to expand our horizons!

Can anyone tell me where you sign up for tastings on the Wonder?

When we sailed on the Dream and the Fantasy you signed up at guest services - just wondered if it was the same on the Wonder

TIA x
