What a wonderful gift!!!

I helped BIL & SIL rent some points, they are at SSR now. They checked in early & got a room in the Springs overlooking the lake! How cool is that?!

We are new members at SSR. We have averaged a trip a year for 8 years and finally took the plunge to become DVC members. We are from Houma and always drive because I always overpack. We have our first DVC trip planned for October because our school board just approved a new October break for next school year. We have been missing MNSSHP since my older dd started school 2 years ago and now we can once again take advantage of that great special event.

School board has said if they have to make up hurricane days those days will be the first holidays we lose. I guess if that happens my dd will just not be there I think having time to be a kid at Disney and spend quality time with dad and mom is important enough to miss a little school at this age. She is only going to be in 2nd grade and it is still easy enough to catch her up.

New DVC Member

Hi,
We are new DVC Members. Our home resort is AK. We will be taking our first trip as DVC members in a couple of weeks. We are staying at SSR with our developer points. We live in Covington, LA. This will be our son's (19 months old) 3rd trip to Disney World. We can't wait. It is interesting to see were other members in LA live. Thanks for your post.

Hi, we're DVCr's from Thibodaux. Our home resort is BWV.
We've been 4 times since May 07 and our last trip was 2 weeks ago.
Our next trip will probably be Nov. 30-Dec 7. Everything is waitlisted, so I'm thinking we'll stay either at Swan/Dolphin or CSR.

Where are all the Metairie people? We just bought at AKL this weekend. We usually go to Disney once a year.
