Help!! How dressy is Formal and Semi-formal night??

Hey fellow Dis'ers! We have a cruise coming up and my DH and I are concerned as to how formal we have do dress on these nights! We are not the tux and gown type, more like tie-dye, shorts and flip-flop type!! Would somebody please comment on how the typical cruiser dresses on these nights and what is the range of dresswear!! This is our first cruise and our first Disney cruise, obviously! Any input would be awesome!!! By the way, I'm not really a dress person! Thanks!!

You'll see all kinds of dress on Formal/Semi-Formal Nights. For your DH slacks and a button down shirt (w/ or w/o a tie) would be fine. For you, a skirt and blouse or semi-dressy pants outfit would be fine. Really, as long as you're not wearing shorts/t-shirts/extremely casual clothes you'll be fine.

Thanks alot CraftyMouse!! I breathed an audible sigh of relief when I read your post. Can the men's dress shirt be short-sleeved?? Is that ok?

Everbody's been there..."First Cruise Jitters". I did the same thing and you won't be the last,I promise! Just have a good time and don't fight it. I usually think of what I'd wear to a wedding or to church.
