Pizza Planet was great. DS had a good time there. The pizza is good, although mine was VERY greasy. I had to try to absorb a lot of it with a paper towel.

We didn't end up eating anywhere at Epcot in October. If we were to eat CS it would probably be Liberty Inn - Alex & I are picky... and I don't like the lines at Sunshine Seasons - I think we ate there once (2002?) and had a lot of choices, but had to wait in 3 different lines (for a long time).

Tangierine Cafe is my favorite. Discovered it last trip and it's the only CS meal I remember.

We have never eaten at Pizza Planet. I am wanting to try it this year, just for the novelty of it if nothing else.

I'm about to go to my moms to dig through the pics and do laundry. I'll be back later this afternoon......hopefully with pics!

I read your entire PTR and TR from your last trip and loved it!! Have to say though I am green with envy that you get to go twice before my trip in November. I really liked the photo book. Did you decide what pics went on what page? I'm a scrapper but I can't decide if I should get the photo pass CD or the book. Any suggestions?

I loved the photo book because we didn't get very many photopass pictures taken. If we would have gotten a lot....or enough to justify the cost of the CD, then I probably would have gotten the CD just so that I could have the pictures to do with what I want.

The book is 20 pages and you can put up to 4 pictures per page. If you go to the photopass website, they will let you play around with it. You can use their stock photo's and get the hang of it first. You can pick the background of each page, and they have pre-made layouts in different categories. It's fun and it always turns out nice.

Sorry guys, I still haven't found my pics from 1997. I know they are here somewhere I just have 3 huge boxes to look through. My mom didn't have the '84 pictures. She said she thought she had them but perhaps my dad has them. Who knows!! I will just continue to concentrate on '97 for now.

The neat thing is that tomorrow I will head to my mothers to do my laundry because there is no way I'm letting it build up for 3 days until DH can go pick up a new washer. She has the pictures of our trip in 1984....or so she says. I haven't seen these in years!! I will be looking for those while at her house tomorrow. Then hopefully when we get home, I can go find the one's from 1997.

Ok, so on to the Counter Service locations.......
These are the one's we tend to enjoy or are considering trying this time:
Magic Kingdom:
Cosmic Rays
Columbia Harbour House
We were able to try both of these last time and didn't get a bad meal at either one. They are staying on our list!

EPCOT
Le Cantina De San Angel (Mexico) - We did this one last time and it was OK. I think the only reason I'm not saying "good" was because I really don't remember what it tasted like. I was sick, the wind was blowing all the food off of the table, and it started raining on us while we were eating. We may give this another try. Not sure though because there are so many to choose from in Epcot!
Electric Umbrella - May try if we are in the vicinity when it's time to eat.
Liberty Inn- This is on the list in case we can't find anything else that appeals to us in WS

ANIMAL KINGDOM
We are doing lunch for this one at Yak & Yeti so we probably won't be doing a CS here. But our list is:
Flame Tree
Pizzafari
Restaurantosaurus (McDonalds)

DISNEYS HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Toy Story Pizza Planet - DS has already "told" us we are eating here.
Toluca Turkey Legs - this is for DH because he STILL hasn't been able to try that darn turkey leg!!

So that's our CS in a nutshell. What are your favorite Counter Service locations at Epcot??

Bummer on the washing machine!! I hate when things like that happen Is there a scratch and dent appliance place around you? If so I recommend going there for a new washer. We got our new dryer at Appliance Smart and got more than half off because someone sent it back with a dent in it. It works perfectly. Who cares about the dent.

Can't wait to see your old disney pictures. It's always fun to look back.

As for CS meals....The Columbia Harbor House is good. Pinocchio's is also good if you want to try something new.

Pizza Planet at MGM is great. I'd recommend going on an off time though because right at lunch it is SLAMMED! I can't believe your DH has never had a turkey leg. Yum!!!

And EPCOT is kind of a bummer on the CS meals. There's really not much to choose from and what there is really isn't that great. We always default to Electric Umbrella because it has the standard hamburgers and chicken tenders.
