A little late! This week is VERY tight because we've got less than $50 to make it to the end of the week.

Sunday -- leftovers
Monday -- Lentils with sauteed carrots/onions/tomatoes/garlic
Tuesday -- Split pea soup with ham (frozen ham bone)
Wednesday -- Church dinner
Thursday -- leftovers
Friday -- Crock pot pot roast
Saturday -- Grilled pork chops and veggies

And cheap. Made it without going to the store once this week. Although I really don't know how the meat will taste tonight -- it's been in the freezer for quite a while (read: a number of years....)

Ah, payday! Happy weekend.

I'm working on the menu for this week. I'm a pescetarian and my hubby is gluten free, so it's a challenge to keep things interesting!

We're halfway thru, but I'll recap (not too hard):

Sunday - Chicken Soup
Monday - Chicken Soup
Tuesday - Chicken Soup

Yes, I made a huge vat of it on Sunday with leftovers from the fridge. It was wonderful, but we're done now. Much better now that I've gone food shopping.

Wednesday - Grilled Pork Chops and Mushroom Rice Risotto
Thursday - BBQ Crockpot Pork
Friday -- BBQ Pork Burritos
Saturday -- Homemade Pizza

The beef (served over pasta) was amazing BTW -- And now we're officially out of meat deep in the recesses of our freezer.
