Love how you took time to enjoy the benches this trip! Is this why I found you on one on your last day? We should have taken more "bench time" this year too. Maybe what happened to me wouldn't have happened if I would have slooowed down.

Can't wait to read more. Enjoying the pic's too!

Jodan, your view was great! Looks like a fun resort! Funny that you found your peeps right away!

And in my own defense about going OT at the PTR party... I brought a Disney bouncy house...not just any old bouncy house but a properly themed Disney bouncy house.
Yeah waht SHE said.... I know, we needed to put in the warning,
before we went OT - we'll know next time

Love the bench pictures! It's funny how you notice the details, like background music, when you slow down a bit. My DH and I are going for our first "no kids" trip to DL in a few weeks and I plan to do just that. Maybe I'll take some bench pics...

When you saw me I think that was on Day 12. I was exhausted. Next trip will definitely have me staying 5-6 nights on my own AFTER every one else leaves.

The bench pix are not over by a long shot. It was definitely a different vacation. Maybe because I'm getting older...

My DB and SIL left 2 days before we did. WE fit in another day at the parks for a whopping $4.26!! I had to add a day to DD's PH passes.
It was kind'a nice not being rushed and feeling like we had to fit in EVERY thing in a few days. Even the next time we go, whenever that may be, will feel better b/c of this trip. We got to do SO much and relax too!

Relaxing and WDW don't always belong together. I'm glad you got to experience WDW at a different pace.

The price was right too.

You can call me whatever you want.

Here's a sampling of my nicknames over the years, at least the ones that can be printed in a family friendly site:

Jordy, Jordie, Jordo, Jordache, Jordachio, Jordaninski, Gordo, J, Yosh, Yoshi, JordanYosh.

You forgot Schmoopie (or Schmoo). Oh wait, that's just for me to call you. Well, and Derek. At times.

Or maybe father of my child with the third hand growing out of it's head.

I'll let you explain that one.

sounds like a great time at DHS (i'll never get used to that). it's crazy that there were no lines for ToT and RnR. and at 12:30-1.

we stayed at pop for a few days last march. it's really great - tiny and difficult for a family with little kids to fit, but so clean and new and colorful. i like it more than the all stars, just because it's NEWER (word? probably not). what a difference, and cooler pools, i think. if only they'd do something about the eyesore across the pond.

which brings me to something you said about staying a few days AFTER everyone leaves. on that march trip, we lucked out and stayed at SSR for 3 days after everyone left. it completely MADE the trip. we got to slow down, just hang out at the pool or DTD, and chill. i definitely suggest it. in fact we couldn't figure out why we didn't have as much relaxing time in november with the inlaws, and that was it. no time after the craziness (and crazies!) is gone.

i'll stop writing now, and tell you, i'm really enjoying your TR! can't wait for more!
