I am not so much worried about killing threads, I have noticed a lot of threads I was enjoying are being locked (and people were actually "playing" nice).

oh, i'm scared of being locked out! On the Thread Killer Unite! thread, we were worried that we'd be locked b/c there were so many pages, but we're not there yet. Do they at least give warning before they lock? Or is it just wake up one day and your favorite thread is gone?

I definitely feel like a thread killer as well!

I thought maybe it was because I sometimes found older posts that I was interested in and replied to, or that I sometimes responded and also added additional questions. But then the paranoid part of me thought "maybe people just don't like me!"

I have been part of an online, mommy group for 5 years. A couple of times, I almost quit posting. It seemed like my name was ALWAYS the last in all threads!

I am hesitating to post this because I don't want to be known as the killer of the thread killer thread but I can totally relate to how you are feeling. I find these great threads and decide to jump in and suddenly that thread is done. I'm glad to find out I'm not alone.
