This explains the strata in the huge main fireplace built to represent the rock strata in the Grand Canyon.

Thank you DisneyNDecember, Disney loving Iowan, tiggerlvr27 and luvfigment for your kind comments. I loved wandering round seeing all the wonderful themeing and details.

I was surprised at how many activities there were at the pool and beach for all ages as well as the duck races - chalk art, giant jenga and giant checkers, beach and pool games, dodgeball, crab soccer, water basketball, bingo and pool parties with music, games and dancing - plus just enjoying the cool water, the slide and hot tubs - bliss!!

You're very welcome (assuming you were talking to me!!) I LURVE details pics so I was intent on getting loads of them and there is so much to see at WL. I'd never have spotted that wonderful ceiling in the Territory Lounge if I hadn't deliberately been looking out for those sort of things. I'll see what else I can find!!

Ask & you shall receive !!!! Thank you DiBerry !!

Wow DiBerry!!!!!!!!! You knew EXACTLY what I was asking for when I asked for photos "out of the norm"--- those are GREAT !!!!!!!! I love the photo of the Hidden Mickey showerhead (nice & clean as well-- I notice this stuff)!!!

I love the little photo of the rabbit coming directly up to you for some breakfast!!! The head dress, the seating areas, the chairs by the desk. It is ALL IN THE DETAILS !!!! Your photos show the details so beautifully!!!!

I can't wait until 11/30/08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for fueling my WL addiction !!!!!

Hope you have a really wonderful stay in a little over 3 months and I'll really look forward to seeing all your photos when you get back!!

Awesome pictures everyone! Helped make my decision to stay at WL in November, not our 1st stay, but we considered splitting the stay between WL and GF this time....nope WL it is!

This thread had the same effect on our trip. When I first saw this thread we had a MK view room at the Poly for our December trip. Looking at all these pictures made me realize that the only resort I wanted to stay at in December was the WL. Luckily I was able to change our ressie before they got booked up for our week. I was even able to get a room with bunk beds, which is the type of room our DS's have wanted since our first trip to WDW.

Pics

Never fear!

As soon as I pull up I will be snapping pictures left and right!

When I got my tax refund the FIRST thing I did was go out and buy a 8MP Cannon EOS Rebel with a CF card that can hold over 500 pics at a time!
(Depending on the setting)

Now i wanted to get a "Disney" lens too so i can REALLY zoom in but alas, that has escaped me this trip!

So as soon as September comes I will be posting while we are there!!!

You don't have to have a zoom lens to capture most things DISNEY unless you just can't get close enough. Most of the time you will find you are wanting the wide view instead of zoomed. Looking forward to your pictures.

I agree! I wish I would have taken my wide angle lens. Oh well, next time!
