Eek! I have less than a month! Any tips??
Ok so the holidays...children's school stuff, etc has kicked my patootie! I have not been planning at ALL.
I have our hotel reservations...ticket vouchers...dining reservations. I bought the kids some goodies & new Disney clothes for the long drive. I still need to plan the kids surprise bc we're not telling them. I have not bought RideMax but want to. I also want to get some Disney cash (no idea what the proper name is) to stick in the kids surpise bags. Any tips on on MUST DO things before we leave? I'm sort of lost bc I have not been planning like I thought I would be. Darn Christmas....

Here are a couple fun things you can do pre-trip that might help with the surprise:
Enchanted call from Disney: https://secure.uvoxnetworks.com/disn....html?affno=66 Create your own personalized "Welcome to Disneyland" sign: http://www.addletters.com/disneyland-sign-generator.htm Disney Dollars from the Disney Store is a great stocking stuffer! Have you been out to the Disney Character Warehouse in Mesa? They have some great discounts on stuff that you can still find in the parks. I got autograph books ahead of time for CHEAP!

I didn't want to use the call bc I don't wantt hem to know until we're on the road.... & that sign thing is cool, I was able to save it to Kodakgallery.com & make a puzzle from it. That will be the final clue I think.
I never did make it to Mesa. But I DID buy a lot of Disney apparel thru Ebay & Disney over th last couple months. Just wanted to get all my ducks in a row w/ some advice from the veterans.

Hydroguy has a bunch of great tips that are stickied
I am a semi-local AP weekend visitor. I think the biggest thing that I can say is make some sort of plan of what you want to do and when is best to do it. Get there early, the park is much emptier before 10:30. I usually get there a little before 8am and really squeeze as much as I can right away, then by the time the crowds come we slide over to DCA and hit the great stuff over there. Then back DLR to catch the evening shows, or hit a ride that is empty because everyone is watching the shows. I think that the ridemax thing looks cool btw. I have never gotten it, but I kind of know the crowds because I go so much, but before I did, we did everything wrong and it was not near as much fun.
