USAA Dividends. When do you expect a check?

Isn't it usually around this time.

I just checked - last year ours came on Dec. 7th. It's always fun to get a refund

I am one of the "lucky" people who have a Subscriber's Savings Account. My dividend check always goes into an accout that I can never touch. It will only cash out when we die or get a divorce.

If the account balance gets high enough, I may have to think about that divorce.

I'm right there with ya, sister. I don't know if we'll ever get a dividends check although sometimes our insurance gets a little credit.

An insurance company.

I always forget about the dividend check. Then one day, I see a thread like this one and I start the lookout for the mail, making sure I don't pitch that particular letter, since USAA does tend to send a lot of junk mail as well.

Oooooh wonder if the mail is here yet?

We love USAA!

lyzziesmom - USAA is a bank for military members and their families. I actually qualified for an account long before I was a military spouse simply because my Dad is prior service Navy. They have very competitive rates on accounts and insurance and their customer service is the best I have ever seen anywhere!

USAA even has free financial counselors that you can talk to about your money situation or plans so they can recommend the best way to meet your goals.

I was just looking through my checking account statements on Navy Federal's web site. I didn't deposit the USAA check until January. Of course, I guess it's possible it sat on the kitchen table for three weeks until I remembered to go to the bank...

We have the Subscriber's Savings Account also. When it reaches a certain amount, besides the amount they put in the account, they also send you a distribution from the account. At least, this is the way it works for us.

We are 32 year members of USAA.

You sound like me. I'm always surprised when I get the check from USAA. I don't know why. I've been a member for almost 20 years!
