Are you seeing your DF before the wedding?

I don't know what to do. DF has already seen pics of me in my dress and im not really supersticious about it or anything. I know if i see him before we can get a lot of the picture taking crap out of the way, i just dont know if i want to see his face surprised when i walk down the aisle. He firmly believes I will look the same as always lol Did/Are you seeing your DF before the wedding?

I don't know. I'm a big traditionalist, so probably not... We probably won't even sleep in the same place the night before the wedding. That all might change though... my DF thinks I won't look any different on our wedding day too, even though I'm hoping for that look of happy surprise..

We aren't seeing each other either, I am very traditional. Even the night before the girls are staying with me and we are having a pampering night.

we did not see eachother the day of the wedding until it was time to get married, I think it adds to the excitement. We got married at 2:30pm and I thought it would seem like forever , but all I can say is that the time flew by and before I knew it it was time to get married.

We are both staying at different hotels the night before the wedding and won't see each other until the ceremony. I never thought it would be but this is something that is now very important to me.

DH came dress shopping with me as well for exactly the same reason as you stated -- we've been together soooo long and I just couldn't imagine him not being there for such an important decision!! We stayed together the night before, and he helped me get dressed the morning of the wedding for our MK photoshoot (and again a couple hours later for the wedding itself). I think it would have been too weird for us NOT to see each other since we've always done EVERYTHING together.

Do what feels right for the two of you and don't worry if anyone else thinks you're crazy

ETA that even though he had seen me in my dress several times already, the look on his face when those doors opened was still priceless. I didn't think he would be surprised, but I don't think it matters if he's seen you before -- there's something different about seeing you at the end of the aisle.

Same here. We stayed in the same room the night before too. He helped get me out of my dress after the MK shoot as I couldn't get my daughter awake to unlace me. We have been together through so much, it didn't make sense not to be there for each other. I had to help him with his cuffs and buttons, he helped me lace and unlace. It was special for us to be able to help one another getting ready for the big day. But that is us.

I think you need to do what feels right for you. Everyone is different. What is important is what you and your DF want.

OK, maybe this is weird - we aren't staying together for any of the nights before the wedding but we are seeing each other before the ceremony, to get pictures out of the way.

However, we are staging what they call a "first look" where the photographer is there to capture DF's face when he sees you for the first time. To me, this is the best of both worlds - you get to take your photos before the wedding but you still get that special moment when you see each other in your wedding finery for the first time. Plus, you can actually tell each other what you think and how good you look without having to wait til the end of the ceremony!
