Veterans Day.....are your kids off that day from school?

I will be in WDW over SSW, the last weekend of F&W, and Veteran's Day (Monday - 11/12/07) and I'm wondering if most kids have off from school for Veteran's Day?

I have been searching the web for school districts in Florida and bordering states and some have Veteran's Day off and some have school that day.

Nope - we have school on Veteran's Day. My kids have a 5-day weekend from the 2nd of November through the 6th. So, we're heading to the World on the 1st (they'll miss a day of school!)

We're hoping to be gone by the time the big Jersey/Soap Weekend/Veteran's Day Weekend crowds arrive

Here in Wisconsin, my DD9 has off November 9th, the Friday before Vetrans Day, but does have school on Vetrans Day (the 12th). Go figure?!

We are skipping school (and work, for me ) the entire week and will be at Disney 11/11 - 11/17. I can't wait!!!

On Long Island, NY the kids have off Monday Nov 9th, I'm pulling my son out for 2 days so we can have a long weekend 9th-14th.

We always do this weekend together........the last 2 years I remember we just barely missed Jersey Week, and the crowds are not that bad. I think Jersey week ends on the 11th.......someone correct me if Im wrong.

I always go for a week in July as well and it is crowded in July, Verterns weekend is not half as crowded as it is in july..................Did I say that right

Hope this was helpful!

My kids have school.

Considering I have to hound DS12 to do his homework and check homework for DD8, I'd love if they had the day off school. Sometimes I feel like I'm back in school. Blech.
